  1. So, I'm curious if these 'Kingly Line' marbles were also made individually, on a torch?
  2. Welcome to the site! Nice group of marbles. Some of them look foreign to the US.
  3. Better pics would help but Modern was my first thought. Pretty bold and vivid. Is the red Oxblood? If light passes through (looks like it should) is it a green base?
  4. Yeah, I estimated around 3600. The toughest part was removing the slightly larger ones from the group to have the weight more uniformly distributed (didn't want any high points for the glass to break).
  5. I'd been meaning to free up some space and got around to it today. This is the top of an old change table.
  6. Haven't seen another handmade quite like this
  7. Never heard of a 'hack' from marketplace. But messenger should have a record of the contact from your conversation.
  8. I don't find these to be a common color combo...with the brown.
  9. I'm even more confused now. If you've already instructed them to keep the marbles and "kiss my a$s", I'd consider that chapter closed and time to move on. Unless this is a joke post or social experiment to elicit comments?
  10. Nice size. Most I've seen top out around 1-3/16"
  11. I'd guess more like a bird of prey. Falcon or hawk or something.
  12. I'm confused. They sent different marbles than what was agreed to? Or you felt mislead by the pics compared to what was received?
  13. Well you guys must have better eyes than me if you can determine "polished" from these pics. What I can tell you, having handled a bunch of Greiners in hand, the glass is prone to seediness and blowouts Even more so on examples with oxblood. Probably related to formulation and primitive techniques being used at the time...keeping in mind this was at the forefront of glass marble production. Just my 2 cents worth. I don't typically comment on open auctions.
  14. Looks like bullet mold marbles to me.
  15. Third column bottom on the OP looks pretty neat
  16. I agree it's a big beat to heck Rainbo
  17. Not sure what more could be expected considering original condition. Turned out ok.
  18. Surprised no one mentioned Peltier?
  19. Pontil on first means not CAC Guinea, most likely Bulgarian. Middle looks like machine made Alley. Last is most likely Bulgarian. If Pontil is faceted it would be German (Greiner). Melted would make it Navarre (or other US Leighton). It it's a rough pontil that looks like it was ground on the sidewalk, Bulgarian.
