  1. Al has a point. I was thinking Alley Ghost, but I do see room for it to turn out to be Pelt instead.
  2. First picture: I think the green and white is a slag. And I think the other three are Alleys.
  3. Pretty sure it's a modern marble. I think a machine-made marble from Mexico. The company I have in mind was once called Vacor de Mexico, so we usually call the marbles Vacors.
  4. With that shade I think a very good chance of being modern. But the white isn't the texture or shape that I'd look for for Vacor, so maybe Champion? I don't know. I'll move it to the ID forum.
  5. Keep entertaining us! Jabo on the yellow set. In the purple group, I think Christensen Agate slag on the bottom middle. Maybe also vintage slags on left and right -- but not sure if I'm seeing any helpful details to make a guess on maker. The top two seem to have a different shade? I'm not getting any feel for age there -- considering modern.
  6. Grrrr. Haven't found it yet. Should be in plain sight. Of course I'd be tripping over it if I didn't want to find it so much.
  7. Top row: Alley, Jabo, Jabo. I think the blue and white in the middle of the 2nd row a slag. Good chance handgathered. Don't have a good feel for the rest.
  8. There is such a thing as a fancy conqueror but I don't think there's a one-color fancy conqueror. Like you, I'm considering Vitro but not getting a good feeling for what age it could be. #2 could be Vitro. And could be modern. The rest could be Jabo.
  9. Yes. Asian. And Modern. Sometimes called Imperials because this style was distributed by the Imperial Toy Co.
  10. I think this is a modern Asian marble. "Modern" possibly stretching back to the 70's or 80's.
  11. Hello Brian! Welcome. A trip to Canada is on my bucket list.
  12. How did I miss this one? I'm way behind. Tired out by working in the heat. 1. Love it. I don't know about "snake" either. I don't worry about that name much. Having a giant brilliant UV cork is plenty for me. 2. Good chance modern. My money is on Jabo. 3. My first thought was Pelt Rainbo. Then I wondered about wonky Marble King. But I'll go with Pelt. 4. I'm on board with Marble King. 5. Going with Pelt Rainbo here.
  13. Old but who? I'm leaning Alley. Am also wondering if you see any aventurine.
  14. I am sharing this directly from Don Miller's post on Facebook. Ron is one of the first people I ever learned to turn to for help on the marble forums.
  15. Hmmmm ... peewee ... Not sure at all, not even getting a feeling for whether it's modern or vintage.
  16. Modern and foreign. With two ribbons like that, good chance Vacor but I don't know the style name offhand.
  17. Vacor Rooster Are you familiar with Vacor? Modern Mexican.
  18. Transparent swirls often can't be pinned down to maker other than "one of the West Virginia companies or possibly Alox" (Alox being made in Missouri.) But having one being 3/4" adds an interesting twist to it. The larger a vintage swirl, the better chance it has of being made in WV by Alley.
  19. I think you have a slag on top and a WV swirl on the bottom.
  20. The top two are West Virginia swirls, good chance Alley. I'm leaning Alley on the bottom middle also. I think modern Asian on the bottom left. On the bottom right, I'm considering Marble King but would like to see some different views featuring the two seams.
  21. Hi. Top middle is a West Virginia swirl. Bottom left is a Vitro Whitie. Bottom right might be an Akro, in which case it would be an Akro Royal. I think Marble King on top right. Top left .... that's a little tricky. The fold in the glass that some people call a "buttcrack" might suggest that it's a newer marble, but I'm leaning older -- leaning Akro. Akro's do that fold sometimes.
  22. I would not be surprised if this one of yours turned out to be older ... like 1930's instead of 1990 ... but I'll dig out my Anacortes and try to get a close up of the ones I think you might be looking at.
  23. That one that we were talking about maybe being Alley? It being Christensen is a very foreign idea to me. I don't remember that being suggested by swirl people that I trust.
  24. Here's an old scan of my Vitros from an Anacortes bag. Yes, a scan. Will probably get an actual photograph someday.
