#4 Akro Probably Akro on #9 and #3. Maybe also Akro on #7 And #8 might be a messed up Akro cork. #1 is looking more Vitro to me. #2 has a more modern look to it ... or maybe an oddball Marble King? Just brainstorming Wondering about Anacortes Vitro on #6. More views on the middle marble?

That's tough. Maybe they're an early version of what came to be known as Imperials? But I guess they could also be flat-out Masters based on the lot being mostly American. I guess the biggest thing which makes them seem Imperial is finding such a number of them together.

I"m gonna guess a special run Jabo or DAS.

Marble 6 looks Vacor to me also. Marble 5 could be Alley. Not Popeye on #4. Possibly Jabo. Not sure. #3 could be an Akro slag. If it's vintage, then Akro slag. If it turns out to be newer, then Vacor. #2 not oxblood. I don't have a guess for maker at this time. #1 ???

Bubbles are cool. Could be Champion. Would lump it in with "transparent swirls".

Close on the name. "Tri-Color Agates" is what the box said. No "ed".

gorgeous but if I had unlimited money, I would probably follow the snow .... I'd have a summer home in some wintry place. Might not go there all the time ... I did enjoy having a garden this summer .... but hey, if I had unlimited money, I could have a greenhouse in my wintery home! So ... snow it is!

We need our swirl guys. SOS. Seems like I should know that marble. The filaments in the base could be a big clue. But it's been awhile since I've played with swirls and I've misplaced my swirl sample cases ... .(yes, I've lost my marbles).

#12 is a Vitro Tiger Eye. #7 is a probably a Vitro Conqueror. #1, 2 and 10 may also be. I'll be back to take another whack at these later if no one beats me to it.

Back in the day "snotty" was used for other marbles too, not just CAC's. But we've narrowed it down quite a bit since then. And the one at the link doesn't fit my picture of "snotty". That's a reputable seller ... but I don't know where they're coming from with this particular marble.

I wouldn't have guessed CAC for the marble at the link.

Look at the white glass here -- it's kinda seedy. If we were looking at a WV swirl, I'd be thinking "Cairo Novelty". I'm not seeing anything here which suggests "veneering" to me. I googled ... and may see the photo you're referring to. So basically I need more input about transparent ribbons on Whities ... but also, to me, this marble doesn't look right for Vitro in the white glass either. Need some Whities pictures!

Something a little different about it. It's not calling out to me as one which would have been in a Tri-Color Agate run. But that's as close as I can get to a name.
