  1. Here is my eensiest weensiest Tribute to Friendship. Complete with four specks of lutz. Okay, probably six or more but I can't see them all at once to verify. 7/16". Maybe one day I'll retake the photo with a 2009 dime.
  2. Here's a double from the Jabo Tribute to Friendship run. As doubles go, it's small. About 11/16".
  3. I can't tell if this is metallic. Let's say it is since that will make the color more appealing.
  4. I have a mondo messed up Marble King that has a little bit if pink metallic on it, if I remember correctly ....where might I find it? ... hmmmm
  5. I could enjoy a roller coaster if it were that mellow.
  6. .... now where did I put my Budweiser marble .....
  7. This reference could be the Japanese patches. (And maybe the transitionals.) I think of the Reg'lar Fellers puzzle boxes with the patches in them. I have seen both 1931 and 1938 announcements for Reg'lar Fellers marketing tie-ins on toys. So I use those to help anchor my best guesses on the mushroom marbles and such.
  8. Yes! The red and yellow. I went to the source. Solved another mystery for Dave, too. lol. He remembered the shipment of marbles coming in but didn't know what guys on the floor had ultimately done with them. Now we know. Now to see if I can photograph them. Maybe the overcast day will work to my advantage.
  9. I just found out something neat about "my" lusters -- "my" in quotes because they actually belong to a friend and I'm selling them for her. I have some Chinese Jabos. Remember when some 1" Chinese marbles were mixed in with 1" Jabos? Well, these are even better than that. Five cases of 5/8" marbles were accidentally shipped from China to Jabo with an order of some other items. Well, Jabo didn't let the marbles go to waste. They put 'em in with the Classics and lustered them all up. So my friend and I have a mix of glossy Chinese marbles and glossy Classics. But I can't post the picture I took because the flash stripped the gloss right off and so I am gonna try something different tomorrow. Maybe find one hour of sunlight some time during the day ... if at all possible ... might have to wait until the next day ... more rain predicted tomorrow.
  10. Luster deferred. Back to Tribute to Friendship. Small ones. 9/16". Two have slender lutz ribbons. One has the teensiest, sparsest specks of lutz but it's there and I know it.
  11. He'll do, eh? *jumping up and down and waving at Caroline*
  12. Hi there, Caroline! No need to jog my memory but thank you for the eye candy. Think of you often. Great to see you. Congratulations on opening this new chapter of your life.
  13. me too Next up in my sort is lusters from around 2004 .... but it's gonna take me awhile to figure out how to capture the gloss.
