  1. Hi Jay. Welcome. That's a pretty cool set up. Be sure to post some of your runs over here: http://marbleconnection.com/forum/31-marble-runs-marble-games/ Nice to have more run makers on board. Are you in America? I wondered if Americans made runs also. Our two run-makers so far are from Europe.
  2. LOL ... sorry ... I won't try to convert you to raisins. Well, not very hard. I didn't much like 'em as a kid. Just very much enjoying them as a cooking ingredient. Making ramen (well, udon) with bok choy right now. No raisins.
  3. I don't remember ever knowing that Imperials came in peewee sizes. Learn something new every day!
  4. What is the difference between a hippo and a Zippo? One is really heavy. The other is a little lighter.

    C A Cs, Anyone?

    Thanks guys and gals!
  6. Now I wish I'd saved the pic from facebook where someone put Vitro cat's eyes into a glass block tile thing and turned it into a pretty light. Clearies would have looked nice in it also.
  7. Very pretty. I love clearies. You could put them between two panes of glass and make a mosaic ..... The dragon headboard has 18,000 marbles. (From the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith.)
  8. The raisins are soooooooo good. Only a few this time and was happy about going with less. Every bite of the burger was scrumptious. But it was still good back before I thought to add the raisins. Savoury.
  9. Oh William, that's stunning. (And I always love Alan's trove.)

    Eyelashes

I thought Galen would have posted his eyelashes by now. *I'm looking at you, Galen*
  11. Cilantro burger. After too much cilantro in a burrito-thingy and in a salad, I put exactly the right amount in my pound of ground beef. Plus some dried onions, terriyaki sauce, raisins and crushed red pepper. A little bit less than usual of all those things in case the cilantro was already on the too-much side. But everything was perfect. And then I froze the rest of the cilantro bundle because I've run out of things to try it in.

    Eyelashes

    Yes, that's our secret.
  13. LOL ... we're organic. The color can be "bubbles" if we want it to be.

    Eyelashes

Moar eyelashes everbuddy! Sorry, I don't know if I have any at all. I mean, I must, right? But I can't remember for sure ever looking for 'em. Will have to do that. Meanwhile, here's an Imperial from FredT, just for fun.
  15. The general idea reminds me about discussions of how flames are formed versus, say, two-seamed marbles. Controlling the flow .....
  16. You could post some mibs in the ID forum. Big group shots are okay to give us an overview of what you have and maybe we could give you an idea of what decades they are from. To get specific ID's you have your best chance with four marbles or fewer per thread. http://www.joemarbles.com is a good site for seeing a big variety of marbles from different companies.
  17. There is such a thing as too much cilantro. I'd heard that before, but didn't believe it. Now I know.
  18. So sweet .... and just now while I was listening to your tune, I read that she has passed away. RIP, Natalie.

    C A Cs, Anyone?

Chips are good. It's nice to be able to study the insides of the marbles. We've had threads on marble innards before. If I can find the most comprehensive one, I'll check to see if it has guineas and then maybe bump it.
  20. I do NOT have any with black. Unless they're hiding in some unsorted group. And I'm pretty sure they aren't. I think that's why my brain has never clicked on Pistachios. I was wanting my non-blacks to count ... and my greens are probably the wrong shade anyway ... so on one level I knew they weren't Pistachios but my brain has been in a constant state of denial over them for years.
  21. I've never learned. I've asked but never felt I had a clear picture. Wondered for years. That1's "wanted" thread (here) made me wonder all over. What green is the officially right green for a Pistachio? What color(s) of ribbons are the officially right ribbons? I don't know if I have any true Pistachios. I have some I call Pistachios but I suspect the green is probably too pale.
