  1. Ah .... mint x 2 refers to color and condition? Or two marbles? (I'm slow. )
  2. Not saying worthless at all. Just not so easy to pick things to comment on out of big groups. I think there is a Peltier NLR near the bottom right here. Nickname: Ketchup and Mustard. Also a Vitro Tri-Lite at the very bottom. Also some Peltier Peerless Patches elsewhere in the mix. So far, all I see is American.
  3. Criminal Minds series premiere
  4. Just for the historical narrative, I started to single out one amber slag. That appears to be M.F.Christensen, i.e., one of the first American machine-made marbles. But then I widened my screenshot to take in that Akro oxblood John mentioned. That one could be worth what you spent on the whole lot (or more). A nice way to start an American machine-made collection. The big translucent with red is an Akro Moss Agate (more common collector's name: Akro Ace). I think the blue boulder will likely turn out to be a Peltier Rainbo.
  5. You got in your Hot Wheels and went hunting, eh?
  6. What kind of marbles did you find it with? What country?
  7. I have some more box pix to add. Going through and trying not to do duplicates.
  8. Gene Krupa? Sounds like someone I should know about. Pride myself in knowing more about old black and white culture than modern pop culture .... but I have gaps.
  9. For a moment, I thought "yes". But my second thought was that it was Imperial. (Modern, made in Asia.) I'm leaning pretty strongly Imperial but is the darker blue area transparent? If so, that's uncommon for an Imperial, and that's making me hesitate a little.
  10. Belated thanks for the Green Fizz photos.
  11. It's a statement, not a question. Some punctuation is left out.
  12. Gotta love that glow. I'm not a slag person. I suspect that more views might be helpful. Showing seams or tails or whatnot. But maybe someone can tell without more.
  13. Fancy Bennington on the left? Or some other kind of ceramic?
  14. Yeah, that's what I had in mind when I started the boulder thread. Then someone made me think harder about how I felt about calling something a boulder if it was more than 3/4" but less than 7/8". "Whopper" is a fun name.
  15. I'm leaning toward Jabo.
  16. I do not recognize it. Hopefully someone else will.
  17. Sooooo ... I had that "boulder" thread and then the question came up of what size constitutes a boulder. And I don't know! I've been trying not to say "shooter" for any marble over 3/4". So I opted for "boulder" for the larger ones. But is that right? A 13/16" marble is too big to be a tournament shooter ... but is it big enough to be a boulder? What would the right name for it be?
