  1. I loved that show. It was a strange moment in time all by itself -- strong non-traditional woman playing strong traditional woman, and then in later years when her character tried to break into the non-traditional she had to act incompetent and need the man to rescue. Too serious?
  2. Har har ... I get it ..... har har .... the marble is on the run ....... bahahaha The Fugitive
  3. I agree. It is true that T-Rex from one year could look different from T-Rex from another year. So may your marble would look more like a different year's T-Rex. However, to me your marble has the structure of an Akro corkscrew. So ... keep it safe in the corkscrew section. And protect it from damage. It is a nice color combo.
  4. Listening to this again -- I LOVE this one!
  5. Sad about regional restrictions. I posted the Tokens. I was not aware of the Tight Fit recording. I am listening to it now. Here is Tight Fit:
  6. Mega, Vacor, Fabricas Selectas, however they are presented I know style names may not always be known -- like for marbles sold in the variety nets. Even if a style is already represented, feel free to add more examples. We know they could differ from run to run. More is better here.
  7. Josh, I did wonder about the purple and reds maybe being Vacor. I couldn't think of which style name to look up, so thank you for that. I _think_ the structure on Doug's looks Akro on this marble. But I haven't been sure about that on all of his purple and reds. Here is a T-Rex listing in case anyone wants to compare: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171850632597
  8. I'm not sure I follow. I'll say "on the tracks" if we're talking standard usage. If it's humor, all bets are off. I need some context.
  9. I sooooo wanted to say that but I was afraid. Was hunting through Cairo and Ravenswood pix.
  10. I feel like I've seen that one also ... but where? Checked several possibilities and not found it yet.
  11. The ribbon structure on this one is ... different .....

    This Swirl

What part of the glass is the blue in? From the transparent area? Or from the solid below the transparent area?
  13. Transparent? Or translucent? (Is the white ribbon giving the translucent effect in the photograph?)
  14. Akro corkscrew for top and bottom. West Virginia Swirl in the middle. All belong with your older marbles.
  15. Greycoat ... Graycoat ... Gray Coat .... ???? spelling? Posted by Bo Stiff Courtesy of Raymond Anderson http://marbleconnection.com/topic/10144-peltier-greycoat/
  16. Beautiful story and beautiful marble. ... look forward to getting a peek at those other pelts ....
