  1. This auction is over but I'll bump for your other auctions. http://www.ebay.com/sch/alkare/m.html
  2. One of my first two thoughts whenever I see marble runs is that these people don't have cats. Sorry .... I think I may have clicked on the Dremel ad but then I wandered away quickly .... missed the marbles ... have never connected with power tools.

  4. He got your attention, didn't he! How did his other sales go this week?
  5. Ya mean Zappa's daughter? I have no idea what she (whoever it is) may have said .... just associating Moon Unit Zappa with Valley Girl speak.
  6. That's My Fair Lady. Professor Higgens is giving Eliza speech exercises. She's supposed to try to articulate with the marbles in her mouth. If I remember correctly. Been a lot of years since the last 10 times I saw the movie.
  7. Took me a bit to remember, but I finally got it .... The main name I recall seeing people post on European sparklers is Bonux. Also have seen Ajax. link
  8. That's a nice style! And that's a lot of them. I think I have a couple.
  9. Wonderful marble! And yeah, soap would be my guess. Have seen them a different soap brand written on them. This one is new to me though.
  10. Free publicity for the rest of his listings.
  11. Thank you everyone Flyfisher, Alyce, Darla, .... Everyone!
  12. ... and the pixie dust aren't bad either. I have one!

  14. Thanks. I needed the smile.
  15. Please don't assume the worst. I didn't mean anything bad. That's all I can say. If I had a marble like that I would definitely consider Mike's method. It would be good to have something reversible in case you ever changed your mind.
  16. Hello Alex! Nice to meet you! Would love to hear more about what marbles you can find over there. Italy is known for beautiful glass but not so much for marbles.
  17. Sorry. Just mentioned it. Didn't mean anything bad by it. If I didn't mention it someone else probably would have. Here's a link to Mike talking about his method: http://marbleconnection.com/topic/19143-open-core-latticno-would-you-polish-it/?p=165686 I kinda sorta remember him talking about filling in things with significant damage, but I can't swear to it.
  18. For pure, personal display purposes you could try to build it back up with a water soluble polymer. It would be seriously frowned upon to sell such a marble after the repair.
