I do have bits and pieces about Fiedler. This isn't totally organized but here's where I was gathering information together:

Well, this says only 21 marbles. So it's not exactly the same as Don's. But right era. 1934, the year the patent was filed. P.s., "Moonie" in that era that could have included patches on a translucent base. Berry Pink even used the name "moonie" for some Rainbos.

I have seen a newspaer ad for a package like that. At least I'm pretty sure about that. Might take me awhile to remember which folder it would be in.

A giant MFC is a wonderful heirloom. I trust you shared the importance of the marble in the history of American marble making.

I have a Sunshine Rippled Wheat bag with glowers. The bags which might be from 1938-ish which say Marble King but were Pelts ....

Yeah, I'd say that's what's called opalescent. The glow is uncommon for lutzes?

Anyone remember the patent someone showed -- I think it was Winnie -- for a machine to convert preformed rods into marbles. ... if I recall correctly ..... I guess the machine heated the rods up up somehow and then cut them. I think it was a German patent so it wouldn't necessarily apply to guineas. Just mentioning it because it's not such an odd idea to mix canes and machines.

haha. Very funny. When I put King of the Hill (1993) on my official wishlist my husband threatened to bring me home a season of that. You guys are sooooo cute. lol
