  1. That second photo looks just like one especially and yet it looks like something entirely different in the other 2 photos..
  2. I believe it might be a Jackson, but I don't think I own one of these. I think I remember learning about this marble elsewhere in the past. JABO has a very similar marble with the red and a touch of white but it isn't UV reactive and the pattern is not JABO.
  3. You could always just put them in a giant jar on the shelf to admire them until you have the urge to sort them by company. The second collectables are stashed away and not displayed the hobby starts to become unhealthy.
  4. If you spread them all out in a single layer and take some more photos there are plenty of folks who would be happy to help you pick out special marbles for whatever reasons (like pulling out the JABOs for example) hint hint hint
  5. I chose to try to learn them the other way around. I bought large groups of correctly attributed marbles by as many different companies as I could find and studied them hands on. The two books mentioned already are also the best 2 I own for this purpose, but my Grist book has the totally wrong photos for a couple of companies which drives me mad. Popular American Marbles is worth its weight in gold no matter what some others might say about the quality of the photos.
  6. Sort them into different companies to the best of your abilities.
  7. Anything with swirls at all beyond the couple of patriot colors special runs would be great. I know there are some very simple light swirls by Mid Atlantic. The two special runs are always in demand too of course.
  8. x3...I learned it wrong and can't stop saying it the wrong way. Jabbo-Veetro

    Cac?

    Yes WVMCC for sure
  10. Lost Your Marbles...my personal favorite JABO jobber
  11. Is this one of the red ones?
  12. Liberty Ram from D.A.S. Test 6
  13. There's a sweet metallic swirl on one of these Corals. Surprise metallics always put a smile on my face.
  14. These came out of a Penny King bag of Whirlwinds I recently bought and opened up. I don't believe I had any two colored Whirlwinds in my collection previously. This was a pretty darn good little bag of Whirlwinds.
  15. I have heard them called Electric Champions, but don't know if that's official or not. It works for me. They appear to have been made in one consecutive marble making session but I can't prove that of course.
  16. These ones don't seem to get talked about often and are pretty awesome IMHO
  17. Ann-does yours have a thin line of aventurine twirling around it too?
  18. It all depends...Do you collect JABOs or fantasy bags...or neither? What were you hoping they might be? It is definitely easier to study and appreciate marbles outside of bags.
  19. lutz cats of course (even if they must be handmades )
