  1. I'm a fan of the McMuffin as well! When i want one at home i just crack an egg in a coffee mug and microwave it for 55 seconds. Comes out perfect and round every time. Seen this ad for sale on the bay recently and thought it was pretty cool.
  2. Here are some classic examples of the Spiderman, Superboy and Superman. All NLRs. All on a blue opaque base. Spiderman has red ribbons, Superboy has orange ribbons, Superman has red and yellow ribbons. Of course there are many variations to the bases and ribbons not shown here. Some will have aventurine too if you get lucky.
  3. The cubscout looks like it may have been polished down.
  4. Glad to have you back Mike and to hear that your health is better. I miss Clyde too, still heart broken over it. I'm available if you need any peltier assistance. My email is [email protected] Dave.
  5. It's a hypothetical marble at the moment. But that won't deter my search. Peltier's variety is amazing. : )
  6. Condolences to all who knew him. R I P Lonnie
  7. I have a thing for the bogards as well, the bubbly bases can be addicting. Colored based cats aren't so bad either.
  8. I didn't know such a marble existed either until i received it. Now the hunt begins for a blue aventurine cannonball.......
  9. Hey Bob, this mib is a full blooded chameleon. Ann, he's glad you're staring at him because he's staring right back at ya'. I bought this marble online from a good marble buddy and i was hoping it was some type of oddball CAC or Peltier, but the glass and the odd filament that goes through the center threw me for a loop. Stranger still are the two separate patches. Tell me what company you see when you look into the chameleon's eye............................ ........for now he's with the old japanese machine-mades.
  10. In my own collection, i like referring to the peltier double cut thingie as an "H" cut. But even the "H" cut shows two cut lines. I rarely see peltiers completely fold over but it does happen. Mibstified just posted a really neat one in the chameleon thread. To keep the two separated in my own brain, i think of the quacking ducks as single fold marbles.
  11. Central California rained steady but we enjoyed receiving it. We've had a lot of drought worries here. Seen a couple houses falling off the coast of Washington on the news last night, hope everyone is ok up north.
  12. I've never considered any jabo to be a true single seamed marble before, like the hand gathers. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the jabo's "appearance" of a single cut-line is actually two-seams completely folded? I suppose i'm guilty of always thinking in terms peltier, but I also see rainbo's with what looks like one cut-line, and is actually a complete fold. Thanks for sharing the alox shear photos, hope you don't mind the side by side. Could the alox shear also be the lawrence glass novelty shear of 33'? They look very similar and were made to dispense two marbles at a time, correct?
