  1. Don't forget to add an Orange Citrus to the list. Peltier Orange Citrus
  2. John, the last one looks newer MK to me as well. Similar to the first. Only the skunk is pelt in my opinion. This is a classic example of a Peltier HoneyBee:
  3. Not true black. Most likely deep dark brown.
  4. The first example looks like a newer MK marble. The second is a peltier rainbo, sometimes called a skunk.
  5. Someone must have seen Bob's listing and clicked the "Sell one like this" button. This will duplicate the listing for you that you can use as a template for your listing. Most people will adjust the title and description but this person did not.
  6. Both look pelt to me. Some people refer to these tan based types as "malts". I've always thought of them as a "zebra" type on a tan base. Although. I've never seen black aventurine ribbons on a tan base. That would be a nice one to see.
  7. The large gap between cut line A & B in this photo is what makes me think German. If the pattern on the B side would have continued down the marble, it would be easy to spot the gap between the seams.
  8. One more vote for Euro/German.
  9. That does make better sense. A retrogression of color rather than a progression. Now that I think of it, the less ribbon colors there are, the weaker the ribbons seem to be. From my observations anyway. Also. I've always believed that peltier started out most marble types opaque in color (Non-fruit cocktail types) and as color ran out then you start getting the translucent bases and eventually to a near clear based marble in the end.
  10. Good to see you posting photos Chuck! I hope you don't mind I enlarged the photo for easy viewing. The last 4 look like the older types in my opinion, fruit cocktail types. The first 2 could be more of the later clear rainbo type. I like the idea about peltier starting from a single color and adding more colors along the way. It makes good sense from a production stand point. I would just replace the first two with the older ribbon types for this progression.
  11. The smiley's are canary yellow in color but are not hand gathered. So i think that would disqualify them. Is it possible that marbles in the Opal agate box are actually canaries? Interesting marble mystery indeed. Here's a side by side of some of the old boxes just for fun. It would be mind blowing if someone shows up with an original canary agate box. Steph, the marble that you own that you believe could be an opal agate....is it visibly hand gathered and opalescent? Also, whats the background story on the balance sheet if you don't mind me asking. Just curious.
  12. wow, great looking marble Mike.
  13. lol, i got scolded for the same thing at my first show.
  14. The two swirls look ravenswood to me. The cats eye could be asian, and could also be a master cats eye. Master also made colored based cats, closer views would help.
  15. Could be an accidental cork. I agree with Galen, the glass and colors look vacor. More photos would help.
  16. Those are brothers for sure. What a score! Congratulations.
  17. Making the glass sculptures without heat is very fascinating. I've seen his videos online in the past and have always wondered how much he sells his pieces for, since they take up to a few months to make. I've also fantasized about what a marble made that way would look like. Would be a killlller piece.
  18. I believe this Berry Pink photo is the opposite side of the ad. I'll keep my eye open for Marble king moonies in original packaging. I always enjoy a good marble mystery. I thought i might see them listed as being mixed in with some blister packs, but no luck.
  19. Doesn't look like mica to me. Probably just debris of some sort.
  20. 2" and above would be considered large in my opinion.
