That's 100% Vacor.

Cairo made something similar but most that I've seen were less color and a tinted clear base glass, dirty looking. The pattern is busy for Cairo too. I'm pretty confident it's either Champion or Ravenswood. Glass is nice for Champion, and the white is thready like RW, so I'm going RW.

One way to know it's not Vitro is that Vitro didn't make swirls. The closest thing they made that comes to a swirl is the blue devils, which is a flopped ingot or maybe considered by some to be the most basic swirl technically.

What does it say by the green ones? That page doesn't seem to be in the edition I have.

I don't recall one named "cloudy skies", only Stormy skies. Which I would say yours is a weaker version of.

No problem Alta, over at AAM we mention and link to threads over here at MC all the time. Years ago there were problem people (mainly one) that caused a great division but that's long gone and over now. AAM is a tool in the bag, same as MC and we should all feel at home at either and both simultaneously. Both are about helping the hobby along. Thanks for your confidence. I still think it's European.

If it's a cane made marble the color didn't extend to the pontils where it was cut. Not much of a cane. Also it has the soot at the termination pint in the 3rd pic. But it is big, I don't know, either way cane or torch it's a pretty basic job IMO.

The marble is a modern hand made torch marble, maybe someone just getting started. The base used to say Davis where it's broken. Modern also.

Definitely Alley. Looks like one I sold on a facebook group not long ago.

Alley.

I agree with the others, save your money. Very common. You're doing the right thing by asking and learning before you buy. I recommend buying 1) what you like, 2)quality, and 3) at a price point at which you can recoup your money if you ever regret buying. Cover these three points with each purchase and you will have a collection you can enjoy and feel good about and will retain it's value through the years. The overpriced mistakes carry a stinging reminder when you see them in your collection, trust me LOL, so keep those to a minimum as well as you can!

It's CAC. Nice less common one.
-
2nd one is definitely CAC IMO. 3rd doesn't look like AV to me. Looks like graphite off the cutter or something maybe.
-
CAC is possible. The size and pattern lead me to early Alley, Sistersville. Pattern could fit with CAC maybe but then the size plus the clear streaks and not quite CAC white lead me more to Alley. Someone else might have reasons they think otherwise. You just take in everything you can and weigh it against what you know and go with the maker with the most weight behind it. Sometimes it's still wrong but it's all anyone can do.
-
Alley sounds right. Not polished, just nice and shiny IMO.
-
I hate to be the odd man out but given the choice between the two, I'm going with CAC. Even though pattern isn't very telling.
-
No, they are just wrinkles/cold rolls in the glass as far as I can tell.
-
Faceted, with metallic. Lazy cork pattern. 11/16" but out of round.

It would be tempting to shine that one up.
