They don't look like any European marbles I've come across
  2. Sincerest condolences Ric.
  3. Not a helmet but I don't recognise it...
  4. Bottom right looks like it could be a Conqueror gone wrong.
  5. The snow has returned. What's happened to spring?
  6. Welcome back. I think I've joined, disappeared for a while, then came back since you've been gone
  7. Welcome to the forum,
  8. Looks like a French machine made to me. Pretty
  9. Thank you Ron - much appreciated.
  10. Pretty sure it's a Conqueror - the variation in Conquerors is huge (I'm getting to know Conquerors very well as they seem to form 50% of mixed lots from ebay...)
  11. Jabo did do white in clear in the 3/4" early classics runs (not seen any in 5/8" but probably so could be...), but U Shapes aren't at all uncommon in Champion... They look very much like a bunch of late Champions I've got (came as part of a large lot of Champions from the warehouse clearance).
  12. I don't know about in US, but water wheels were commonly used for powering the cutting tools at older European glass works
  13. Thanks Steph, I thought it was the solid green ones that were moved to Alley but wasn't sure on the semi-transparents

I'd go with Champ as the most likely
  15. 90% certain they're Champion.
  16. Yes there is - they were making marbles in the old East Germany until at least the late 70's/early 80's. I've not seen anything like this before though...
  17. Coral I'm guessing Champion from the mix of transparent and non-transparent, but I'd appreciate confirmation from someone who knows their corals! Thanks!
  18. I like those four bottom left vitro in the last pic.
  19. Picture 3 is a cut line on the ribbon there's the hint of a cut line at right angles to that one on the white, and actually under the loop I think there's the trace of a third at and angle to that I think you might be on the button with Japanese transistional
