  1. I like that version of the Planter's peanut guy. So much cuter. šŸ¤”šŸ˜
  2. The top four are of the first marble. The bottom four are of the second.
  3. Sorry for posting a ton of ID requests. I've just been so pumped from seeing everyone else's finds that I felt like digging through what I had. The more I dug, the more curious I became. šŸ„“ Here's my last post for the evening. I promise. The first marble is .61". The red seems to turn to pink as it blends into a tannish light brown. The second marble is .58". The swirls are seem quite random and the red is a more brownish red. Thanks a million!!!
  4. Just needing some confirmation as to if these are Alleys. I was catching up on posts that I didn't read yet and saw one on Alley Pistachios. I thought I saw something like that in one of my boxes so I dug them out. No luck. No UV glow. swirls not defined enough. But one is pretty drizzly so that was cool. Thanks for your input.
  5. I'm thinking this is a Akro maybe because of the colors. If it is an Akro what type is it? The size is .72". Thank you!
  6. That yellow looks so Akro.
  7. Thanks PittsburghM. When I see thick swirls I'm even less certain of what it could be.
  8. Saw this interesting zig-zaggy marble in my jar and was wondering if this can be attached to a certain company. It has a dark translucent brown base and a thick white opaque swirl. The size is .60". Thanks!
  9. The pontil says definitely handmade! Nice festive one at that!
  10. Happy MK Monday! I hope that you find at least part of your Labor Day a restful one!
  11. Thanks! Glad I didn't destroy it!šŸ¤Ŗ
  12. WVRons, I'm always amazed at how you are able to ID the marble down to the town. You must have a photographic memory! I was thinking that the last one is a newer one. Swirls aren't vibrant or well defined. Thank you!
  13. Looks yummy! Do you think the bottle was better than the taste of its contents? šŸ¤” I'm guessing it hit the spot.
  14. Love your "Hawaiian Soda Works" bottle!!! I have a "Maui Soda Works" bottle with a Hutchinson spring stopper. When a friend gave it to me, I had no idea what that was. I thought his dad put a piece of wire in it for some other purpose. I actually tried to dig it out so that I could toss it. Luckily, things back then were quality made so I was unsuccessful. When I looked up info on my Codd bottle I discovered that this was a stopper. Who would have known. Also, back then, repurposing was a way of life. So I added in a photo of a cup made from a soda bottle that his dad or uncle created.
  15. Number 1 and 2 seem to have that orange peel texture of a foreign marble that makes the lighting ripple. (Just practicing my marble ID'ing so could be wrong.) Number 8 catches my eye.
  16. Came across a few marbles that look like alleys. Here's another four. I'm thinking they are all Alleys. 1. a lavender-mauve ribbon swirled in an opaque white, but light shines through it so it probably has a clear base, .60". 2. a greenish, bluish, grayish base with blue swirls, all opaque, .59". 3. an opaque blue base with translucent red swirls, .65". 4. a semi- translucent white base with green swirls that kind of spread over the white at times, .66". Thanks for your help!
  17. Thank you VWRons! For a minute I was wondering if the middle two were Jabos that looked like Alleys because the folds sort of looked like snug diaper folds.
  18. Alleys? All are .59" except for the first one which is .63". Thank you for your help!
  19. It doesn't have that oily shine, nor does it have any orange peel texture, which is why I'm thinking this.
  20. The glass doesn't look like Vacor. I'm pretty sure it is something else. The colors might seem bright because I was playing with the lighting since there wasn't much natural sunlight.
  21. It was in a jar of alleys and jabos.
