  1. Yes, Rainbo's are at least twice as common and much less in value in 99% of the cases., unless you have a really rare colored one.
  2. Another Peltier Rainbo just a bit whacked out !!
  3. All Peltier Rainbo's except this one, a Peltier NLR Spiderman, this time I'm positive.
  4. Looks like a so called game marble, could be one of many manufactures. A turkey head is associated with one manufacture, Christensen Agate Co. (CAC) circa 1925 - 1933, your marble is not a CAC, many marbles have what appears to be a "Turkey head" but are not CAC, link & pix courtesy of AAM LINK : https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=21307
  5. Middle one looks like a Peltier Spiderman, the one on the right appears to be Alley agate & the remaining one on the left looks like some form of West Virginia swirl, not sure on manufacture ??
  6. All 4 are Peltier Rainbos, A a Peltier Green Fizz is classified as an NLR marble, a link to assist you in further Peltier identification, picture courtesy of the Peltier information site, link is the same site. LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/nlrs
  7. I really like this on Stephen, the stacked appearance is killer !! !!
  8. I like it when they get spawning, they'll hit almost anything, they're defensive instinct takes over. Caught some real whopper smallies during late July, early August, they hit anything you throw at them. again and again until eventually they get hooked. By the way William, we kill em on yellow & chartreuse here as well, my Brothers favorite go to for bass was a big "hula popper" just before dark along the bank, he was the Bass fisherman I like Salmon And Steelhead better, but we always got together & had a good time whatever type of fishing we did, Sometimes nothing, I guess that's why they call it fishing not catching !! My baby Brother with a Salmon & a Steelhead, a good day with my Best Friend A better pic of the Chinook I'll dig around and see if I can't find some of his Bass pix.
  9. Wow !! I'd hate to be the mouse on the receiving end of Punkins mitts !! What a little speedster. Sooo glad to see them both getting along well !! Oop !! did I say "mouse" Squeak !! Squeak !!
  10. "Makro" Sorry I couldn't help myself !! Looking at this picture & in consideration of the massive size I'm gonna say Master !! Never the less a very, very nice marble !!

    Akro? 🤔

    x2, nice one Tommy
  12. Killer PPP, look's like a volcanic eruption or something !! The metalic laid down perfectly on top of the the burnt ribbons. Dirty glass but immaculate at the same time !!
  13. First thing that comes to everyone's mind I suppose evidently the person who came up with the name was thinking exactly the same thing !!
  14. The term "A shoe in" is ringing rather loudly in my ears !!
  15. "HAPPY AKRO FRIDAY" A few from the past, but I made a collage so might as well post it !!
  16. Thanks for posting the provenance Steph !! Great info !!
  17. The J coat is killer man, good colors !! I love em !!!! My first was a sulphide but coats are my favorite handmade, bar none !!
  18. My sentiments exactly, you can only sellout so much of your society before there is none left at all, I have a strong point of view on this subject matter but will keep it to myself (for now) I wish you the best William, my Father worked at Reynolds Metals and just made his early retirement age 3 months before they sold out !! A lucky man. The new owners walked into the cable plant 6 months prior and told the employees to get out, they were trespassing on private property, imagine the devastation after an average of 20 years or more of service having the rug pulled out from under you!! I feel for everyone in this position, hopefully the "Powers that be" will pull their head out at some point ??
