    Hi all.

"Welcome to Marble Connection Jarrod" I'll just get you going a bit on some familiar ones !! The first picture is almost all from a manufacture called Vitro, a bunch of which are called all reds Just a general rundown you may have some real sleepers in there with 27,000 marbles Much easier for you as well as the person making the I.D. if you only post 3 or so marbles at a time, that way you can get a more accurate I.D. and be able to bunch you marbles accordingly as to type. 27,000 is a lot of marbles, you must have half a truckload ?? A good portion of these are from the "50's and 60's" Assorted cat eye marbles A few transitional marbles, a clay and one blue Bennington i.e. (glazed clay)
  6. You're welcome Rick, I'll start diggin here in a bit.
  7. I guess you could call it a "Ruby Dragon" "Dragon Bee" I don't know but it is a bifurcated marble, I have some rainbos that are bifurcated as well but no pics & really don't feel like digging around with a flashlight. Maybe some pix later tomorrow if I can find them ??
  8. Fruit cocktail is a Peltier name, it would have been a perfect name for this one though !!
  9. Same one I was taking seconds at, what a killer, definitely not from any stateside manufacture, I reflect you sentiments Steph "Wicked Cool"
  10. My best & most trusted Friend "Don" passed away in Nov. of 2016. Best bow hunter I ever met. The thing he enjoyed most was being out in GOD'S creation, then came the Bear & the Elk. Nothing wasted, not a trophy hunter, as I remember in earlier years to feed his family. I have a lasting memento of him that brings back a flood of lifelong memories, I mean I went to grade school with the man. One day He was insulating underneath his house and he knew I collected marbles, I was over late that day to ask him how it was going, "Ok" he replied & said he had a surprise for me. He pulled a marble out of his pocket, the simplest of things a 9/16ths white opaque game marble. He put it in my hand and asked if it was worth anything. "Yes" I said, some !! I still have it, probably the lowest monetary value of almost any marble I have but to me it's priceless. I found a little bear trinket holder so packed a lifetime of memories into it, when I look at it all I see is my good friend and Brothers face. I keep many thigs like this all in one place, kinda like a garden, "food for my soul" marbles have brought me so many good friends & good times !!, Was it a good decision ?? The day I decided to collect them ?? Or maybe it was something else I was being led to or looking for ??
  11. Pretty much, but still if ya like em ?? I have some of very little value that I really enjoy having.
  12. This one looks like a Chinese torch marble, take a regular flashlight to it & see if that snow looking stuff floating inside it glows after you turn off the light, not gonna change "my" I.D. , Just curious !!
  13. Great post & link Steph, I've used Joes site a million times & "still do" what a continuing asset to the marble community, wish I could thank him in person, I understand he was very friendly & a great person to be around.
  14. Thanks for reminding me I knew I was forgetting something.
  15. Hyaah, giddy up there not there... there c'mon now, lets have some order here
  16. A little over 25/32nds kinda distorted for a Pelt NLR but the biggest liberty I have
  17. I had to do a double take also !!
  18. I agree with Steph, the distinctive brownish black lines make these look Vitro to me also.
  19. A Peltier Blue Panther, usually with a very light amount of very fine aventurine, appreciation for the photo given to the "Peltier Marbles Information Site" Wish you had one William as I wish I did also, VVHTF I've never even seen one to my knowledge except in pictures. I think this one belongs to Sami Arim, at least it bears a close resemblance to his personal example of the one in his book ?? LINK :https://www.peltiermarbles.info/rare
  20. The way I look at it as far as any reputable long lasting marble manufacture is odds are "almost" every color combination or variance you could think of, mistake (so called "one offs) has been made. I stopped doubting anything to do with mibs a long time ago. Marbles are one of the oldest toys or games known to man, I don't believe most have any idea how far back they actually go.
