Just everybody has an opinion on what qualifies as one and what doesn't. Almost like walking on eggshells, as you can see by Steph's post, always some question one way or the other. Not just cats, Popeyes and many others fall into the "Hybrid" abyss. I generally stay out of it because it's always the same thing. Conversation is good, the only way disputes are ever settled. Always a question ?? I guess if all the questions were answered we'd have nothing to talk about. I'm not taking any sides here but just sayin I agree w/ & believe Steph's definition of a "Hybrid" to be completely true !! Unintentional for one manufacture, Intentional for the other, now you see what I mean. "I" see most "definitions" as based on a general consensus, which makes sense, I guess we can all agree to disagree until the day this subject and many others reach resolution !!

Here's where the "All Perspective" part comes in, "Hybrids" is & always has been a highly disputed term As I'm sure I'll get a reply to this post, never the less engagement is what we're looking for !! Just how things are finally ironed out.

Not speaking of any as yet "unnamed" mibs. Naming an unnamed type makes it more recognizable when trying to I.D. The "Renaming" "Changing of Factory Names" & "Reuse of Names" all just add to the confusion & cause disputes. I already remember Sherbets, so in my mind at least it's already stuck.

There's one bag of Vacors I wish I had !! I hear their not very common in the bag like that, or otherwise for that matter ??

More like "renaming" already named marbles, including trying to change some actual factory given names, ridiculous !! ?? What a trip. As if the myriad of names wasn't already on overload A lot of new collectors "yes" but a few just looking for their 10 seconds of marble naming fame. Throw it at the wall & see if it stick's type mentality I guess ??

"Happy Peltier Tuesday" At under the half inch Pee-Wee mark. A couple marbles I thought I'd never own. Two Peltier Wolverines & a Pee Wee Christmas tree. I was gifted this one as well as another along w/ a Pelt Pee-Wee transparent Christmas tree from 2 different "Marble Friends" I couldn't believe it. Both types were supposedly "Lunchbox" marbles and not production. I am grateful as well as humbled by my "Marble Friends" some beautiful marbles that will never be sold and are among my most valued possessions. The first Wolverine I got, in the box it came in the mail in. Both Wolverines are duplicates of each other & spotless wet mint. I can't tell them apparat ?? So a measurement and a pic w/ their namesake. I know I've posted all these before but this probably isn't the last time either. Both Wolverines along w/ the Christmas Tree. I have never met either of my "Marble Friends" and probably never will !! Never the less I treasure their Friendships immensely. Not because of the marbles, their just pieces of glass, but because even though we've never met they thought enough of me to call me their "Friend"
