  1. Ok Steph just for you I have about 100 or more clearies from .50 clear down to .27, even some crackle pee-wees , and about 15 German's I completely spaced off, the picture's are coming I promise.
  2. If you have Block's hardback it has probably 95% or better of known sulphide's, you will get the feel for them after you've seen a few, remember if it's questionable there's a reason !! Stanley as well as Bob's book's are a bit spendy, but some of the best referencing I've ever seen, well worth the money. If you get one authentic mib at a reasonable price the book's have already paid for themselves. Stan was a great marble enthusiast and promoter to the marble community, He is greatly missed. And him and Bob have probably saved me thousand's $$ If you go to Alans old site as he describes the questionable California sulphide's, new multiple figures, rare and unknown's w/ none of the for mentioned having the green fluorescence under uv. and yes their other fakes around just like everything else, you are wise to be cautious until your familiarity w/ them grow's.
  3. This is the dude that's gonna take care of the Doc if he screw's up.
  4. Haven't slept for 4 day's, a little to much pain in the membrane looking forward to sweet relief , gonna get a little.
  5. These are all the Indian's I have, just really hard to find not missing glass, the maglite has a ghost core and some filament's a of color in it, almost sub ??
  6. I know this is marble related, just not sure what? ashtray stand bottom, lamp stand footing, it does have 3 little feet on the bottom of the mold ?? highly uv. You're guess is as good as mine." Update " A Vidreo fan base. Riddle solved
  7. Some joseph coats, I forgot to put the baby onion and this j coat in pee-wee's, the onion is a little under.50, and the small coat is right on. Some may be repeat's, too many mib's, not enough brain's !!
  8. Here's a master I found w/ what look's like lutz i.e. gold colored flake's, so I'll just say metalic.
  9. I rolled this mib backward's 1/8th of a turn @ a time, from top to bottom along the seam, who made it and what is it ???
  10. This mib has multiple color's of aventurine, it run's through over half the yellow and orange and the rest of the mib is a muddy black opaque absolutely loaded solid aventurine throughout. I should have taken this one in the sunlight so you could see the weird av loaded black chocolaty cloud covering the rest of the mib. I also should have left the last three pic's until somebody guessed the right answer. Oh well
  11. They might be common but I like em and that's all that matter's. The last pic of a frog look's horrible but everyone of the bubble's is internal, not one made it to the surface, a very clean sulphide
  12. Smore of them triplet's, the little one's will turn orange when they grow up
  13. I had to slide these in here, Big bruiser and baby bruiser.
  14. They probably all ran when they seen you a comin with yer pocket o aggie's, either that or face the wrath of an angry piece of stone slamming into their soon to be chipped up shooter. Smore pic's, some old !! some new !!
  15. Found that newspaper clipping I was lookin for Ron, ( had to take a pic of a pic) I was 5 @ the time, just barely a little remembrance in me little pee size brain. Lookin proud in them han me down's.🐟 I do remember my Dad yelling emphatically, get yer pole ly
  16. Here are the few cat eye's I have after year's of pouring through thousand's this is the end result for me !!! The blue one's are exactamundo 1, 1/4 " and the little red one is 9/16th's. The next one is killer for a cat, Love it !! Oop's almost forgot this one.
  17. A little game my Grandfather gave to me, not that old but keeping it because it's from Gramp's.
  18. One of my pee-wee's, a Champion furnace mib, the spot's are all subsurface air bubble's, only visible in pic's. I didn't even know they where there until I looked @ the photo's. Second one's an Alley, a tad under. Another Alley, a touch over so not a pee-wee to me, still mighty small for a flame pattern.

    Stone's

Got the kidney stone's, need surgery, I'm out !!!
  20. I've now learned that no one's really sure where they where made. I just went on autopilot year's ago when I was thinking German. I've heard everything from Asian made to Venetian glass. Most recently on the other marble discussion site I heard of 2 selling in 2019 for around $1700.00 each, the price has come down a bit, I got this information is from a few former owner's and other's interested in the marble's history. Who know's, still an interesting and worthwhile query. It certainly keep's my fire going!! Myself, I would be happy just to see one, always shrouded in mystery, "wait a second thought seeing one probably wouldn't be good enough" "just make me want to own one all the more".
  21. Thank's for getting back Gary, talk soon when you have the time. Regards, Chad G.
  22. Hello Bruce, Kalama is only 10 min. drive east of my local up the interstate. I used to fish the Kalama river all the time. Bought quite a few mib's there to, small town lot's of antique store's. Use to have a bunch of my friend's that where, and are vendor's @ what's left of the antique store's there.
  23. " Howdy neighbor "Small world, and getting smaller all the time. If you went to the marble show when they had it in Tukwila a couple year's back I may have seen you there ??
