  1. Almost there @ 23/32nd's a metallic alley swirl, w/ copper and iron looking banding clear around the mib, when I can capture it a little better I'll resubmit this pic.
  2. Not the most spendy but very beautiful alley spruce w/ an extra busy pattern, the only one I kept of 5. ( definitely not the brightest move I ever made )
  3. One of my best sulphide's, a common but xtra clean and wet with very minimal air entrapment figure of a pig, not huge but an average size of exactly 1 1/2 "
  4. One you don't see every day, a yellow glass coreless swirl, @ 29/32nd's
  5. This is my wettest mica, a common green but no pitting, pullout's, scratches or pocket wear a nice 1.13 inches, excellent mint + shape for a mib this size and age. someone must have forgotten about it for a long time.
  6. These are my favorite German's next to lutz, joseph coats, nothing like the ones I used to have but getting there. plus some ribbon lutz marble's. I found a few more when I was going through my mib's that I didn't even know I had.
  7. Keep the pic's comin Ron, I can always save them even if i can't get the packaging.
  8. Sound's as if we have more than 1 thing in common. I still have about 1/3 of the pic's from the old collection I had before my divorce, I don't really like looking at them but have them none the less. The last time I seen any orig. packaging besides cat eye bag's was the box I got with the chinker check board I bought, still have the board you seen, and mib's but the box took a walk ?? Leaves me w/ 0 packaging except for the lone game bag and repro box. Collector's that are lucky enough to still have packaging aren't letting it go, as I suppose I wouldn't either.
  9. And what a lucky man you are, most excellent, I especially like the alley's being one of my two favorite's, I know I won't see that box anywhere else. I had s few different assorted boxes of mib's in the past but all gone in the ensuing divorce I went through. All the more challenging and fun to try and play catch up. If I can ever find them again ??
  10. Wish I had a fresh minty box of each in one of my curios Bill. "Yum Yum delicious"
  11. Seen em before I was confused by the coral color and seam so I paid them no never mind. Like I said, I throw away nothing mint anymore, a lesson hard learned. By the way nice pic's and thank you for sharing yet another tidbit of knowledge, though I'll probably never see them again I'll certainly not pass them up. Regards, Chad G.
  12. I understand wvrons is a fisherman ??? Maybe I'll drop him a pic or two.
  13. Quite amazing to me also !!! Ah to have the steady hand's of yesteryear.
  14. Al Oregon = I lived in Oregon all my life except for Naval service, right across the Columbia river bridge about 4 mile's away from where I now live in Washington, in a little town called Rainier, small world isn't it. Thank's again for your input.
  15. Waiting for more new's on vacor, I know it wasn't the only marble maker in Mexico. Only stand's to reason w/ that much money being made on marble's there had to be more than one manufacturer. million's and million's and million's of marble's and only one producer ??? Just trying to be company specific to vacor as far as info. I read the thread's on all about marbles you and other's have posted Al Oregon, and found the new information refreshing. I learn something new every day, still several opinion's and many bit's of evidence. I enjoy learning and sharing what I've learned. Regards, Chad G.
  16. Just looking through some old pic's and stumbled across it. I always have problem's with remembering the color's of certain boxes, maybe I'm color blind ??? For some reason I had this box of milkies, not the marble's just the box confused w/ the cerise agate's box. ( I must be blind or my mind is goin " ) probably a little of each.
  17. I left a pic of a box of cerise agate's for ya on page 3 bill, thought you might like to see em !!! Chad G.
  18. These pic's will give you a little better look see at some more cerise agate's Bill. The white box I was thinkin of was a gropper box just not the right box, enjoy man !!!
  19. Found some pic's of early vacor boxes. Marketed as vacor swirl's and sold on Mibbage.com site a few years back. I messaged Iowamarble ( chad ) to see if him or Charles had any further info on this subject. Seen one other pic of similar box, same company on all about marble's, evidently a different company ???
  20. I posted this hoping to see someone w/some older boxes or bag's, I think the oldest box of Vacor I seen sold was on Mibbage's site a few year's back before they quit selling mib's. Maybe Iowamarble knows what I'm talking about. I will try to message Chad. " Wait I found it "
