  3. Ohh--this one is a clear based Pelt imho. Nice marble regardless of the ID. I appreciate all opinions and look to see some more. Marble--On!!
  4. I also have some from my Grandpa--via my mother. Welcome here my marble ID looking friend "brently". I agree with Steph--more images are needed. I know that is a hard ID--but here goes. You have two possible Akro Agate "corkscrews" and an Akro "Filintie as well. None of them would be considered as high value imho. Maybe $20 all together—not worth the sell. These are very nice to have and a great thing to keep from Grandpa, I am sure that he loved and revered them. Marble--On!!
  5. When these "Butter Milks" get bigger in size they seem to swirl out of order. The one in the images is over 3/4"--closer to 7/8" as I recall. Just a heads up for you. Marble--On!!
  6. I agree with all of the above. The yellow in these is as intense as opaque yellow gets in marbles as far as I am concerned. Just an observation. Marble--On!!

I agree Melissa. This is the thing with Akro vs Master Patches like this. I would lean Master on the left one. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!

  15. If you take out the color and look at the white and blue it is no doubt a Master. I agree with Master--a weird one though. Marble--On!!

  19. Regardless of the backwards thing--Good eye Fire!!! There are a few instances of this found--or like finds--different though. Remember when these were made. Sadly, back then, not everyone had a good basic education. I pass by my Fil’s school every once in awhile—it is 1/3 the size of my not too big house—I suppose that I should cut him some slack-------he is pushing 90--. Akro--on!!
  20. This one was meant for you Fire--Love it! Marble--On!!
  21. Nice find Mojo Yes--you can frost your own marbles no doubt---"Frosted Hurricanes” are a rare thing in the good ole USA –these are from across the Atlantic and I know—it could be done—not by this person—he knows his knows. Marble—On!!
  22. I have made two canes out of "Diamond Willow"--no marbles attached. The first was for my mother in law--RIP. My Father in law still uses it when no one is looking. The second one--well it is for me--not yet finished--lol.( I may include a marble now) What a great trip to the out back looking for the right stick, then drying it and doing what had to be done--a great tribute to those that you love. Cane--On!!
