  1. I will take this image late always--pretty cool---that little twist of oxblood in the image. I have a one inch patch with similar colors--I wonder?? Is this bait or will you show some more? Marble--On!!
  2. I looked--no size, history or description. If they are Jabo they are mostley "Contract" marbles imho. The contract marbles used pink in a lot of runs-because before this--Pink was quite rare in any marble--but the newer runs--post the contract runs do too. You have to post some more images to get a real description. @Nantucketdink is alway my go to here. Marble--On!!
  3. I purchased this box just for her---yes, not all right but it makes her happy--me too. Marble--On!!
  4. My gal does too--pretty cool imho. Marble--On!!
  5. The little dots on Benningtons came from them being stacked so closely together during the firing process--yep--they stuck to each other. Marble--On!!
  6. @Fire1981 is an expert here, especially with inclusions. I think that this one is a Pelt Rainbo--pretty cool imho. Lets see what Fire says. Marble--On!!
  7. If Cheese says Ravenswood--I am all in. Not too common--a nice find. Marble--On!!
  8. I just desire the patience of @Chad G., a mentor and a big brother to all of us here. Our big sister @Steph has left and her patience and work here has modified my patience as well. Lets make this work for awhile again--we are all getting older but "mentorship" is a real thing that deserves attention at the highest level--it also rewards the mentor in a good way. I know--it can get boring for us old farts --just pass it on and be rewarded, make yourself feel better by sharing your knowledge. It sure works for me, five minutes of your time will speak hours to many out there. A positive word here or there is all it takes to make it work. This is not meant for you Shamrock--it is meant for all of us here at "TheMarbleConnection", the oldest marble chat group on Planet Earth. As always--- Marble--On!!
  9. Nice eye--good find as well. Marble--On!!
  10. Yeh--I get that all the time--"Buy me". That Popeye sticks out like a sore thumb--nice group William. Marble--On!!
  11. I love the new avatar Dave, this is what we do--suck it up and move on. Marble--On!!
  12. Nice stuff Al! We all broke containment at one point or another--Steph though--Really. Marble--On!!
  13. Bullseye China? It does look glazed from my angle. Do not let the name fool you--most of the "Chinas" were made in Germany. Yes--folks collect these and condition is always a factor. The brown one to the lower right is in fact a "bennington" so you have a few involved there. Marble--On!!
  14. Glass jars make a good display, some cool old jars really will show them off without taking up too much room. Jars are easier to dust than individual marbles are😁. Marble--On!!
  15. Cool stuff Fishing--thanks for sharing this. It all comes around--sometimes. Marble--On!!
  16. Nice images--not a wirepull imho. WVS--common to find. There are very few people left in this world that can ID a "Jackson" imho. If it is yours--keep it--I would not buy it based on what you are looking for. Marble--On!!
  17. River dug or outhouse marbles?--Maybe. I think that you have a few glass ones mixed in here. I do not see any "Bennies". Clay for the most part. Tap them on a tooth to tell the diference. Brian Graham has researched American made clays more than any one else. I can never remember his user name here but this is a link to his website. https://www.briangrahamglass.com/marbles/ Marble--On!!
  18. I know what Al is thinking here--nice marble! Akro made a snake with these colors for sure--very pretty are they. I will have to call this one a WVS imho, made by a variety of makers. I would not call this one a Jabo for some reason. Nice images! Marble--On!!
  19. Some Bogard black cats. Enjoy Steph!!!
  20. You have a lot of interesting marbles as a group and most are vintage type. With the exception of that “Silver Oxblood” I do not see any worth the bank. If you are looking at selling them you have a few options. Sell them yourself as a group on E-bay or Face book, send them to one who takes a commission (about 30% last I checked) or just keep them as mementos and spread them around the family. Thanks for sharing and asking about your Grandmas marbles, they have been a joy to see. Consider what I say here and get back for any info. Marble—On!!
  21. It is little--it is cute--it is a Jabo imho--"Classic"--made for the masses and sold as such. Nice marble--Nice images as well. Marble--On!!
  22. The silver ox that Va mentions is the best for sure. Condition is what matters here—one little flea bite knocks the value down. This is a way better group than your other post shows. Still-- not much value even thought there are a majority of Akro Agate "Patches" involved in your first several images. As a marble—these are not really that valuable—in a group-they will bring some money—not much though. Patches are stinkers and they have to be super nice to sell as an individual and expect any return for your efforts. Your first image shows Peltier “Rainbos” even these big ones are quite common—even today. If you put this (all of them) group into a jar and had it for sale—I would be tempted to spend $60-$80 or more. Marble—On!!
