  1. Wow--the blue is intense on that one Chad--nice marble! I have a favorite Image of a blueblood, the blue is usually a bit darker and most of the time the ox is covered by it. Sometimes not. Marble--On!!
  2. I am no Guru. I can tell you this Much about your "Whopper" though. The big ones do not behave like the smaller siblings do. I would not fancy calling this one a Conqueror. Trilite would be my choice. It is a nice marble! Marble--On!!
  3. I agree with Alley Agate--I know most of the big ones. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  4. Akronaut would be the correct spelling. I agree on the Jabo ID. The Corkscrew--no oxblood--not a blueblood. If I had a row of ten I would call it a "Prizename". By it self--a really nice corkscrew. That is always enough for me. Marble--On!!
  5. Always Steph, with the patches. Marble--On!
  6. This one appears to be an Akro---"Cornelian". (not CARnelian) Rare and hard to get a good image of. They appear to be quite Opaque in hand--like a "Brick". Back-light them and they will reveal themselves, They are semi-opaque. These were called “Bricks” by the older—really older collectors—even older than me—lol. Here are a few better images that I have—most were dug as far as I know. They came in many shades of red from deep almost oxblood looking to a more red-ish that we all know. They were boxed and sold by Akro as Cornelian-they were the mostly more red variety—with a bit of white—they looked like an opaque slag. There may be more names for these—I just call them Cornelians—all of them. Marble—On!!
  7. That is Chad for sure--- Marble on Bro!!
  8. I believe that you have two “Vacor” from Mexico marbles there. The first one is quite familiar to me. I purchased some of these about thirty five years ago on a whim thinking that they may be CAC Guineas. LOL—live and learn. (We all do) I cannot remember the name. Galaxy? The second one may be a Vacor as well; I would need more images to make a proper ID. Welcome to the board and---- Marble—On!!
  9. "Rarest Marble Related Thing U Own" It is a funny------funny thing with any collectable-----include marble related items. The rarer the item, the more unbelievable the item, the less it will be collected or desired. They all may be copied or misrepresented—just do your research and collect. Never put good money at a “gut feel”, just do the research—if you do not have the time to do the research—back off. Here is one of seven or eight known—just a marble ----I have done the research. I know what it is. For an Akro collector—well—enough said here. I just love this stuff!!(I really love this stuff) Do the research!! Marble—On!!
  10. X2--welcome and lets see what you have to offer. I am looking forward to it! Marble--On!!
  11. It will be well preserved--trust me on that. Marble--On!!
  12. Like I said-- Thanks Nantucketdink---- Marble--On!!
  13. Here is another that I can consider as rare--"extremely rare"--just maybe "one of a kind" as far as Akro will go. I know--pouches are pouches--not this one---try to find one! I collect Pouches--forgive my exitement.--This one is just "KILLERRRRRR". Nice thread Pittsburg!! I just love this stuff!!----Really I do!! Marble--On!!
  14. I would love to see them Alan. Marble--On!!
  15. Welcome w8ingnthebushes. I like the handle. I was lurking in the bushes for many years. Marble—On!!
  16. Image two shows some good mottled glass in the blue color over the yellow. This is common in Vacor Atmos. The size is right on. Nice marble! Marble—On!!
  17. This envelope would have to be right up there on the rarest that I have list. Marble--On!!
  18. I agree Steph--the background is making this look like a Vitro--Akro Multi colored patch is my opinion. The cutlines are right. Marble--on!!
  19. Killer WVS. I know, it has orange peel. This is not a Vacor. Cairo? Anytime that I throw out an ID on a WVS-- I need more opinions--simple as that. Marble--On!!

    Veiligglas

Is that oxblood in the first one? The second one appears to be "Opal". Nice marbles--probably Veli. Marble--On!!

    Akro Cork

It is a corkscrew so it automatically becomes “Special”. No name-“corkscrew” is enough. You can search forever and not ever find all the color combos in a corkscrew. Search on!! Nice marble! Marble—On!!
  22. This one is not familiar to me--from your side of the Atlantic again is my input with this one. Marble--on!!

    Akro ?

I think that this one may be from your side of the Atlantic Mojo. Marble--On!!
