  1. Akro made a corkscrew with the turquoise base like you show. The cork part was oxblood. It was weak oxblood and I have never seen one without the ox pitted and cracked out. Yours at least looks red to me—check it close! Marble—On!!

    Akro

I would call this one a "Very Nice" corkscrew. If all of the corkscrews had names we would all be befuddled🤪. The yellow egg-yolk color is just killer--the base--well I have seen the likes of these with a "Root-Beer” colored base which are top notch in my arena. Just be glad that not all marbles carry a name—some are just--- ”Very Nice”. Marble—On!!
  3. Nice find--Nice marble!! Marble--On!!
  4. I agree with Ric. I can see enough of the marble to make a call though. Nice hard looking glass with a very fine cutoff that is well finished. Based on what I see—Master. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  5. Here is the thing with the OP. It is a Jabo imho—maybe a contract run or maybe a “classic”—Size always matters. I just love the names that you WV folks came up with—“Lady Tator”—really?? Love it. I remember back a few years, these things were going wild on Ebay—just wild! I found one in a “junk drawer” lot for $15—not $300—lol. They are just killer marbles—just killer!! Marble—On!!
  6. I will stick with"Lumpy" on this one--cool marble! Marble--On!!

    Patches

These are all really tuff ones to ID. The top left is a Vitro Conqueror imho--the rest??? Not all marbles can be ID'd. Marble--On!!
  8. X4 --nice stuff--keep them coming! Marble--On!!
  9. I do not know what the op is other than a WVS--it is a nice looker though. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  10. I agree--Nice one too! A production marble--not a contract type. Marble--On!!

  14. This one was on my watch list Melissa--nice marble!!! Marble--On!!
  15. You are missing Yellows, they are a hard find for me. The greens are the hardest to ID--for me--they just do not light up like the rest of them. Backlight them all is my motto!! Marble--On!!
  16. That is a good question @Chad G. has answered it many times and he is locked and loaded for this one. Marble--On!!
  17. No name here that I am aware of--Vitro yes--"Whities" no. This is just imho and many more are needed and welcomed. Marble--on!!
  18. I used to set an alarm for sniping—LOL. Set a price based on knowledge, not want-ability and stick to it. I was always one to beat at an in-person auction, if I wanted something, I kept the card raised and pulled it down when I reached my limit. The faster the auction—the better imho—on to the next!! No tricks, just honest bidding, there is always a bigger fish with bigger pockets—RIP—lol. Common sense, not big cash, is the way to win. Always have a limit and always know what you are bidding on. Research, Research, Research, never throw good money at a common collectable that you may find next year for $5. Nuff said! Marble—On!!
  19. Here is a nice link. https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/akro-agate-co/ Marble--On!!
