  1. Agreed Ric--it reminds me of lead. Sizes always matter with marble Id’s. The penny and nickel work well—a calipers does the trick though. Get a plastic one from Amazon or Ebay and take a shot with them or just measure and list the measurement in inches please---Fractions and MM take too much time to cross reference for a lot of folks that would otherwise give you an ID. The stone ones are a hard ID for almost everyone. They are collectable as a display item for many folks—collected by very few marble collectors. The striped one on the top right may need more images—wait for more responses though. The “Germans”—the two lower left may need more images as well—wait for more responses though. I am a machine made guy. Marble—On!!

  5. I agree with Ric--but I always guess at WVS. It may be one from many makers. Champion and Ravenswood are in my little WVS pee brain with this one. All opinions are needed when I try to put an ID on a WVS. Marble--On!!
  6. This is why most of us are here! Great images by the way. Marble--On!!
  7. Chad is right on. Many makers made these types. Most game marbles are solid opaque--some are not. Blue and Blue/White marbles always catch my eye. Marble--On!!
  8. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  9. Great marbles Joe2! You ended with my favorite one--Just a killer patch type. Just a tip for the newbies, that one looks like it has Master cutlines--follow the cutline with the eyelashes in the last image--not the color. Marble--On!!

    Wild Find

I agree, it does look like a Master Made Marble. In my humble experience, Master Made Marbles ( not necessarily Master Glass marbles) are about as round as you can find. If this one is slightly out of round—I would say—Foreign. Macro images can be a bit deceiving—I get it. Marble—On!!

    X2--Nice one! Marble--On!!
  20. Akro made a corkscrew with the turquoise base like you show. The cork part was oxblood. It was weak oxblood and I have never seen one without the ox pitted and cracked out. Yours at least looks red to me—check it close! Marble—On!!

I would call this one a "Very Nice" corkscrew. If all of the corkscrews had names we would all be befuddled🤪. The yellow egg-yolk color is just killer--the base--well I have seen the likes of these with a "Root-Beer” colored base which are top notch in my arena. Just be glad that not all marbles carry a name—some are just--- ”Very Nice”. Marble—On!!
  22. Nice find--Nice marble!! Marble--On!!
