  1. Well, this is a very tuff one to ID. There are a very few that can ID these but they are not around that often. There are however folks around this board that can point you in the right direction. Brian Graham is my suggestion. I do not know how to contact him though. He does have a website--try him out. Marble--On!!
  2. I am not afraid to say that I used to toss MK’s aside while sorting a group, there were just way too many! I did keep the odd and mint ones—just because, well I am a collector after all. I am an Akro purist and do not regret a thing, this is the nature of collecting🙈. The names that MK’s have received over the years is mind boggling and I have never kept up with them. (I will never forget Bumble-Bees just because of a childhood encounter) Now I am purchasing a few---who knew----keep them all---I did---I just have a lot of sorting to do. Marble—On!!
  3. Well Gladys, I am giving my opinion based on what they look like backlit. They sure look like "Furnace" Marbles when back-lit---not that they are. Backlight them all for sure! More opinions are always welcomed. Marble--On!!
  4. From big to small--Nice ones Gladys! Marble--On!!
  5. That is a real "Killer" marble mibcapper--nuff said. Marble--On!!
  6. I still have not figured out what this one is--- MK I think-- Marble--On!!
  7. I would have too! An image or three of these individually will get better ID results. Show the cutlines and--- Marble--On!!
  8. I am going to type Champion on these--- More opinions are needed and are more than welcomed. Backlight them all!! and of course---as always Marble--On!
  9. Yes Lumbo---not a Pelt---no way---never, not even close! Sometimes we get so carried away that we may forget the original question . There are a whole bunch of marble nuts here and you may have to sort through the responses to get a good Idea. This was a great post and by you and I recognize what your original question was. Keep them coming, my marble collecting friend. There are very few marbles or questions that we will shy away from here. The one that you posted is a Nice Alley Agate Swirl😃. Marble—On!!

    Vitros

I do not see Vitro here, but I do like a Bump Up!! Marble--On!!
  11. I think that this one may be an Akro. These blue and yellow colors really did not corkscrew well together. Just my thoughts--- Marble—On!!
  12. Here is a nice pile of Akro “Flinties”. The dark green one is 11/16”. I just love these marbles. Marble—On!!
  13. A nice Champion Furnace marble without any fractures is a very good find indeed. Here is a bunch from a digger that I like—not too shabby imho. Champ made some nice ones! Marble—On!!
  14. I do not think that it is a Vacor. It is not a Peltier marble. I do not agree with CAC. I have seen a few of these big ones and I always thought that were Alley Agate. There is one buried in this set of images. More opinions are welcomed/needed. Marble—On!!
  15. They don't look familiar to me at all. I wonder if you have a group of Akro “experimental” here. A lot of strange stuff came out of the ground at the Akro site. More opinions are needed with this group. Nice ones though! Marble—On!!
  16. I agree with Alan--far from antique and more than likely a Vacor from Mexico. Marble--On!!
  17. Almost a Jinx---lets just call it one😴 Fire. Marble--On!!
  18. The blue and yellow were an argument for some time--Vitro vs Akro-- until a digger revealed were they came from---many, many, many, of these were dug in this color. Any Corkscrew will show up as a patch--including Pop-eyes in any color combo---just they way of things in the machine marble made world. Blue and yellow patches are pretty common---the rest are not. Marble--On!!
  19. I would have to call these Vacor “Black Panthers” made in Mexico. Nice marbles! Marble—On!!
  20. This is a tuff one Leigh but I will call it a Master Made Marble. As always, more opinions are needed and appreciated. Nice one! Marble—On!!!
  21. I like to say or type Champion sometimes. These are great images! It is a very nice example of a WVS. Great colors! Marble--On!!
  22. This one is a "classic" Akro Agate Popeye Patch. Most of these were dug from the Akro Site. Nice marble-- Marble--On!!
  23. Here it is again Gladys, If you did not get a proper ID I urge you all for some proper input on this one. It is a very nice marble. Marble--On!! https://marbleconnection.com/uploads/monthly_2022_06/_DSC1583.JPG.562cd895b05af9c026f3ef54413ab9ad.JPG

    Tricky

LOL, I will stick with my original ID. Pelts can be tricky! My second guess would be Vacor😆 but it would be a far from second--Vacors can be tricky too. Marble--On!!
