This is a nice bunch and they could have all came from the same run imho. Multicolored swirls are not predictable. Plenty of folks have experienced this first hand during the Jabo Contract times. This is of course just my humble opinion and more opinions’ are always welcomed. Marble--On!!

Here is the one that I am talking about, I circled it. Vacor marbles can be a tuff ID sometimes--they are what they are, just like any machine made is. The colors in the big ones do not always show up as they should or do in the smaller ones. A well colored biggie is always a bonus in a Vacor marble. As always, this is just my opinion and I welcome any others--this is what I love--and what I learn from---I just love this stuff. Marble--On!!

Yep---another nice one! Marble--On!!

Nice one Fire! marble--On!!!

I always knew that these would become collectable, that is not why I kept them though. They are just very nice looking marbles—I just love them, I just do not know them by name/company . (I really do not care; I collect what meets my eye). I have a good eye for WVS and almost talked myself into an ID post today that turned out to be a Vacor Velociraptor, hours were spent and I enjoyed every moment. Research paid off once again—I just Love the ID section because I am always learning from it. Marble—On and collect what you like as well!!!

It would be a stretch--- a very nice Pelt marble regardless of my opinion, Marble--On!!

Yep!!! I hate them with a passion--just me and what I think in my collecting mind. Collect what you like, toss what you hate---it could be related to the bad experience with my wife--kind of like an in-grown toe nail, once you have them you avoid them at all costs. I have since researched polished machine made marbles with a passion, I just hate them and am always on the lookout for them—I just hate them!!---Really! I judge no one--give me a break here😁. Peace, collect what you like and of course---always--- Marble--On!!

That is a nice one Fire--very nice! Marble--On!!

Oooh, I know that Chad knows his pelts---but I would sort this one as a WVS. Nice one—No maker or name from me. Marble—On!!

This could be a great new thread if anyone is willing. My wife was bamboozeled years ago by a polisher at a show who misrepresented what he sold, I passed him up but my wife purchased some presents for me while I was looking elsewhere. I will never forget my response to her present---oops---really—oops!!! The good advice is if you do not know marbles---stay away and buy a nice tool for the old man or lady—lol. I have no use for polished machine made marbles but I know that many do. I used to throw them out but I still have a few---in a box—just waiting to inform the masses. Each to their own. Marble—On!!

Good eye Steph, I think that you nailed it. Marble--On!!

The third images shows little round marks where either the marble was touching another one or several during the firing process or it was on a stand of some sort during the same. The surface looks glazed and fired to me. I have never seen anything like it. I am not ready to call it new just yet. If it is glazed you should be able to clean it with just about anything without the color rubbing off. Did little Fire make this one in ceramics class?😁 Marble—On!!

Well it is a small world today Fire. I was just hunting the Vacor site to ID a marble. It turned out to be a "VELOCIRAPTOR". A pretty cool marble in it's own right. If you click through through the images of these you will see one looking close to yours in a net. It is lacking in some colors, it is the 25mm size, close enough to 1 1/8" for me. Marble--On!!

Not Asian X2--WVS imho. Marble--On!!

I agree with Fire, Whisplers show up with blue base glass frequently. Master Glass marbles do also but they are usually brushed patches. Nice marbles regardless. Marble—On!!

When in doubt about slag’s I just call them Akro Agate and move on to the next. They made many many millions of slag’s. Marble—On!!

I have had a few like these in my fingers. They felt like Vitro Agate to me. They have very nice round smooth glass. Marble—On!

Pelt made a bunch of Peewee marbles--just sayin😁. The wee ones have a tendency to do their own thing. Marble--On!!

I gave up years ago--Planting seedlings in early June is my way. I am quite attached to my little ones, I grow mine from seed. I hate when I have to put the plants into my compost in the fall and I thank them all for their service. The dry spring turned into a wet one and my pole beans, chard and others will have to wait. The ground temp is still below what it should be and seed rot is not worth the while. I am just lucky to have a few Radishes given the temp up and downs. There is nothing like a garden grown Radish, wash them off in a little rain water, chew them up and wait for the nose to clear, the hotter the better. I am not the one that wants the first—just the best for my uses. Wisconsin has turned into a late crop area—I will adjust. Late season Black Radishes—I can’t wait.

This is another Akro vs Vitro--I think that Cheese has it right. Marble--On!!

I looked at this one quite a bit today. I think that the green color pushes it towards Akro vs Vitro. Marble--On!!
