  1. Leigh, Please try a different back ground for your images. The one that you use seems to eat up all of the light that we need for a proper ID. A solid color is best as is direct sunlight. Black, white, yellow, gray they all have a different effect on the final image. More opinions on the background that you should use are all appreciated and welcomed. Marble—On!!
  2. Both are Peltier MCS imho. As always, more opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  3. When I was just a kid, 9-10 years old, the pea picker trucks would slow down to get over a bridge near us where we were fishing all of the time, I think that they slowed down just enough for us to jump out and grab a bunch of pea vines. “Party under the bridge”. Hmm, those were the days. What happened in West Virginia? A marble party?? Marble—On!!
  4. I use a Wescott T-800 template to sort my marbles by size. It is about as close as I can get to what the factory did. If the marble does not fit through the 5/8” hole then it must be a 11/16”, in my world anyhow. I sort by factory sizes and am happy with that. Over 1 inch takes a calipers and clumsy sausage fingers. I drop more big ones than I do smaller ones. Sellers are more fussy with sizes than I am, along with many buyers. Marble—On!!
  5. That is a Master Made Marble inho. Nice specs of AV in this one. Marble--On!!
  6. I would sort this one as a Pelt Rainbo. Nice colors and a bit wonky, I like it! More opinions are always welcomed. Marble--On!!

    Master?

LOL no blasphemy here posting Cats. I like Master Cats. I know that they can get funky but I do not think yours is a Cat. Just a Master on the thin side. Marble--On!!
  8. 3 1/4" last night, the first storm gave us 1/2". Windy like a Banshee it was and a good light show to go with it. We love storms!

    Maybe MK

The way that the green blends into the white points me towards Vitro with this one. Marble--On!!
  10. 3-3/4" of rain last night, lost power @1AM. Tornado spotted just south of us and the sirens were blaring. It was so dry before that the the sump pump has not run--yet. My rainwater collection system for the garden was depleted--not anymore! I can hold around 900 gallons and it fills up fast with that amount of rain.
  11. X3 nice one at that. Marble--On!!
  12. Welcome Zima Blue and keep them coming. We all just love this stuff! Marble--On!!
  13. I think that I would sort this little gem as an Akro. Cool Marble! Marble—On!!
  14. Hello Leigh, According to Google, 13.9MM is 0.5472441 inches. A peewee is considered so when it is ½” or less. It sure looks like a Pelt to me though. Nice one! Marble—On!!
  15. Happy Birthday for sure and many happy returns. Marble On!!
  16. I believe that the middle one is an Akro corkscrew, not real corky though. Marble--On!!
  17. The third one is an Akro Carnelian, these are usually more of a swirl than a corkscrew but they do show up corky. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  18. There is nothing to hate there. Hand-mades in a net? Different for sure and kinda cool in their own way. A first see for me. China? Thanks for showing them and, Marble—On!!
  19. I agree but this one looks veneered again, yellow over white---Vitro is my opinion. More opinions are always welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  20. Great stuff that we all try to apply here at the MarbleConnection. Keep posting and keep coming back! We all love this stuff. Marble--On!!
  21. Notice the "one way" sign---I know where it points--for him at least. Nuff said! Lets just Marble--On!!
  22. Size matters and I am guessing that it is 11/16". That is a Champion swirl imho. Any further opinions are welcomed, needed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  23. These are new to me today, I just got them in the mail. All 5/8”-11/16”. A really nice score for me. The first image shows what I believe to be “Ringers” and they are harder to find (for me at least) than Popeyes. The second image shows Flinties and you all know that I just love-em. There are few rare ones for me, a white one and a yellow one. The next image shows the rest and who can resist a nice light blue snake. The other two are just, well corkscrews and who can resist a nice cork? One does glow like the dickens—love that! They are still out there. Marble—On!!
  24. Is this how some of the Jabo "Contract Runs" got the pink in them? Cool stuff! Marble--On!!
