  1. This is a good sign that they were melted, stretched, pulled, cut and made from a cane of glass. Marble--On!!
  2. Hmmm, first of all—Great images! The first one is a Jabo in my opinion. I can see why you might think that the blue and white is an Akro marble but I am just not getting the right vibe here. I want them to all be Akro—really I do. WVS imho. Size always matters. More opinions are needed and always welcomed. Marble—On!!
  3. I have serious issue with too many "in sight and out of mind". "The Marble Room" is a thing in my house--it is also called "The Boy Room" by my wife.( I just wish that it was bigger) All of my dogs and cats are "boys" and they love hanging out with marbles--and me😁. Marble--On!!
  4. MK did make some very pretty blue—and white marbles. The next image shows "Painted Turtles" under a slight flash—it is pretty cloudy in Wisconsin today. Marble—On!!
  5. I would sort it as a Vitro, a strange one at that. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  6. Those are nice marbles. Akro from me as well---never saw one before either. Marble--On!!
  7. "Wicked Owls" should have a brownsih swirl in them along with the white. I cannot make any other colors out in that marble Mojo but if there is “wicked owl” is a good ID. This one feels more WVS-ish than Vacor-ish to me. I have come across at least a few colored like this from WV. I will throw Champion out there just for kicks❓. As always more opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble—On!!
  8. Well Dano , Any marble with red in it will be hard to be ID’d as opalescent. The red color in the marble will always throw it off a bit. Opalescent marbles will have a reddish glow trough some part of a usually whiteish/pinkish glass. I do not see it in this one. If I had to guess, I would call this one a Vitro. Marble—On!!
  9. This one looks like a Peltier marble to me. Nice color! All opinions are welcomed and needed! Marble--On!!
  10. Slags vs swirls--always a hard thing--I get it. The top one is pretty cool though. Marble--On!!
  11. Well, this is a tough one--- I will venture to say that it may be a Vacor "Old Fashion". Any and all opinions are more than welcomed and are probably needed. Marble—On!!
  12. There is a lot of white in this one---I will say Akro. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  13. This is a nice marble that has seen some "pocket wear". Nice, hard, well cooked, Akro Agate glass imho. All opinions are more than welcomed and they are always needed. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  14. I know when I see an electric yellow CAC Slag---- it is enough for me. The rest of the slags are all great, but the electric yellow CAC just blows my mind. A thousand of them would not be enough, the best slag ever made IMHO. Marble--On!!
  15. A Slag vs a swirl will always be a good conversation for any marble post. I will stick with WVswirl here. What maker--??? I am far from an expert on WVS ID (it might be a Champion)—I just know them when I see them. Any and all opinions are more than welcomed and always needed. Marble—On!!
  16. This is my Sundays’ best, three nice ones from across the ocean. 1- 3/8”, this person knew what it took to make some great Sulphide marbles. Too bad that he/she was flooded out. Marble—On!!
  17. Nice marbles Mojo! Marble--On!!

    2 for ID

The yellow and white with mossy base is an Akro imho. Either a corkscrew that did not cork or a patch that did not patch. I was going to post a few for comparison but the ones that I have like this all have an “aide” base that really glows. The green one is just killer and deserves a BUMP! Marble—On!!
  19. I just did this to give you a heads up Ron. I do not know how to do the @wvrons thing like Chad does once in awhile. Marble--On!!
  20. I agree, all of them are swirls. Marble--On!!
  21. I would say WVS. The last image shows what may be some opalescence coming out of the bottom. That is always a bonus for me. Marble—On!!
  22. This one looks like a Jabo to me. The size kind of says it as well. The big Jabos of this era will show little white hits/bruises on a very glossy finish, and they will commonly glow orange under UV light. All opinions are more than welcomed. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  23. There are no orange Flinties in my experience. Under UV light Flinties just lay there wondering what you are doing. Flinties are opalescent so white light is the way to ID them Brown (light reddish orange), Green, Blue, Red, White and Yellow are the colors that you may find. The brown ones seem to be the most common. White and yellow are a hard find for me. Yours look yellow to me. Shine a penlight through them. If the light does not penetrate, they are not Flinties. If the light does penetrate it should show through the marble as a reddish orange instead of white. Marble—On!!
  24. Nice marble, those UV slags take the glow to a new level. Marble--On!!
