I would sort this one as an Akro--then put it near the top shelf. This is a great one. Marble--on!!
  2. This one is either an Akro or a Master--nice marble! All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  3. Vitro six finger cat imho. A nice looking marble--but these are way more common than an eight finger. Save your money with this one for a nice corkscrew😁. Marble--On!!
  4. Top notch images Ric--nice job. Marble--On!!
  5. I will call Champion on the left one. The rest need more opinions for sure. Marble--On!!
  6. These patches are tuff to ID. The lower right is a Master. Marble--On!!
  7. I have seen "Clearies" with metallic stripes before--they are a vey cool find and it shows that you are really looking at these marbles that you post. Just based on the color----Vitro imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  8. "Roosters" can be tuff---I agree. Fire got the B@W one imho. Nice marbles!! Marble--On!!
  9. I do not think so. This is not a Jabo imho--just a late model WVS of some type. More opinions are always needed when I try to ID a WVS. Marble--On!!
  10. This one looks like a "Beach Marble". I can agree with Akro though. Marble--On!!
  11. Me too. I will not pretend to have bucket-fulls of dug Akro marbles. The ones that I have seen show little evidence of ā€œspace junkā€. That will rule out Master as well imho. This may be an early Vitro—just mho. Nice looking marble! Marble—On!!
  12. X2--the best cat eyes book in the world. It is just under three years old. You will not be disappointed. Pay up for this one. Marble—On!!
  13. This is not a Jabo imho--wvs. More opinions are needed. Marble--On!!

Thease are MK imho--not game marbles imho. Marble--On!!
  15. The top left is a very nice nice hand-gathered marble--a keeper for sure. It may be from any maker but the condition is great. The top right is more than likely a MFC. The bottom left, although a very nice looker is a Jabo or even a Champion imho. This one needs some more input. The bottom right—well—it is a beat up Amber slag—hard to tell. All opinions are always welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  16. I laid off and I know Akro---just sayin. Marble--On!!
  17. I think so. Marble--on!!
  18. That is my guess--not enough images. It may be a contemporary. Marble--on!!
  19. X2--A nice one but still, it is what it is. Asian for sure. Marble--on!!
  20. Ya--I saw this one too-----I believe that it is an Akro. I worked it over pretty well. Marble--on!!
  21. The board was obviously down and out earlier today. We have been invaded lately by a variety of spam dealers and bad inter-web folks. My thanks go out to the ones that worked hard to get us back on track to enjoy this site. Hats off to @bumblebee, @Chad G. and @Steph for all of the work that they do to keep this place from becoming a mess. If I missed anyone--just let me know--hats off to you as well! Marble—On!!
  22. This is a Chinese made marble inho---A very nice one for sure--They are not all this nice. I hope that I did not burst your bubble. Balloons On!!!
  23. The term "Fire Opals" is up for discussion. There are a few boxes of ā€œFire Opalsā€ out there on the interweb that show what I believe are "Flintiesā€ from earlier sales pitches. ā€œFlintiesā€ and ā€œFire Opalsā€ both came in a variety of colors. All of these marbles should try at least to show some opalescence. The greens are hard to find opal in—you really have to have an imagination with them. I still think that white ā€œFlintiesā€ are ā€œMooniesā€ that are renamed. Yours is a red ā€œFlintieā€ at the very least as long as it shows some ā€˜Opalā€. Akro game marbles and ā€œSolidsā€ will also show the little slits that are commonly associated with ā€œ Flinitesā€ or ā€œFire Opalsā€. These red ones will light up with opal when back lit. Marble—On!!
