Thank you all! I am surprised to see German here and twice to boot but I think you have something there. Last night I watched this video (again) but it had been awhile. Seems each time I watch Stephen Bahrs videos I understand them better. This one was quite on time as I had just posted a few different slags after going through my little collection. On this video they talk about your German marbles starting at around 15:00 and they do point out the large gap mine shows. There are a few with a lot of detail like mine in the bunch they look at. I am not beating my chest here but I think I have an exceptional example of a German slag marble.

I hope I am not the guilty party, Jabo marbles are amazing for me and there is quite the vast sea of diverse examples. I just think they are fun. Many are truly beautiful works of art.

I fit in there in several categories. Trucks, rocks and marbles but not ropes or stamps (anymore) I only say good morning to my marbles.

Just got 2 UV lights on amazon cheap and they are awesome. My dog even glows.

This is a very pretty marble when you stop and look at it a little more closely. On the left is an image of it taken under LED lights. On the right are my camera flash images. Could this be something a little more special? Thank you kindly.

First one was blue. A beauty, but this one is dark amber and has some pin pricks but it has a nice wing. These are pretty scarce in my experience compared to other makers. Right?

OK well, It was not easy finding cut lines but I think I found 2 or maybe 3. I don't think the green one has a cut line at all which makes it look a little like a 9 but no cigar I suppose. From L to R as shown in above order.

I'll try to get back to these tonight with the cut marks. This could be even more edjumacashinal that way. I put them away again. LOL

This is a recent rerun from the "Score" thread but it is one of my smallest but favorite marbles. A smidge over 1/2 inch. Just a skosh. Akro Agate 5 color Corkscrew.

Was going through my slags last night and I was able to spot these thanks to you guys and my better edjumacashin. Well, maybe the green one isn't but I am pretty sure the red and two blue are. They're close to 3/4 inches I guess.

All I can say is this is no small matter. LOL It's good when you can spot a single Jabo in the mix by experience.

Oh just another thought. Look at the lack of fancy in most of these Jabo pee wees. https://marblemary.com/?s=pee+wee I think that there is a good example of what some of the larger 5/8th production no name player marbles would look like. There are some neat ones mixed in but to me many look very common. I have a couple few hundred Jabo 5/8th marbles, some are quite fancy, others are run of the mill common marbles. So relax, I don't think we could figure them all out in a thousand years.

I kinda fell down the rabbit hole of trying to identify every Jabo or at least pigeonhole them into "runs" which I don't think applies. I am going to guess that some of our marbles look like they could be Jabos and very well could be but they may have been out of the furnace same day and look a lot like the next one but they don't always get named. Most all the 5/8th size I've encountered that are somewhat "Plain Janes" are just that. Production marbles made by Jabo, and packaged and sold in retail packages as playing marbles. There are the more fancy ones, made with more effort and care, gold lutz and aventurine added and nice threads of different colors, some glow under UV light. These are sold in small lots or boxes and may or may not have names and specific dates for the "Run". Sometimes they are 5/8th but quite often larger at most often 3/4 inches. So, I have learned to relax a bit on worrying about what run they are but if you have them identified or buy them as such, hang onto that identification. I am a fan of this seller, she's nice and her website alone is quite a display of the wide variety of marbles in this category. I like almost all of them. Not a big fan of speckled decorated marbles though. The confetti stuff doesn't do much for me nor does metallic lawn chair type swirls.

It looks like 11/16 th but the good news is I think I found a couple 9 and tails MF Christianson while I was revisiting that tray. I think I'll take some pictures of them tomorrow. I am meeting my YMCA pool marble source tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed. Might be a good score.

When you say "post" Fire, I assume you mean "mail" and not put pictures up of what you got in the exchange right? Some people do say post in place of mailing.

Holy smokes. I watched this on TV this morning. I bet there was 5 to 8 thousand bucks there that I think cost Adam $1060.00. I was a bit jealous I guess. Picked up a lifetime of collecting in one morning of awesome marbles. Many were already identified and bagged. I can't believe that all he gave Stephen was a "slow cork"! I think he could have said "keep it" or "it's yours" a few more times.

But it glows crazy. It has been played with but still acceptable. Just makes it I guess, but not junk. I was very surprised to see it light up under the UV. Any ideas? I'm guessing Vitro Agate. Thank you!

Very nice of all of you to take the time to ponder and post. Thank you! This marble almost got junk piled but now thanks to ya'll I;ve come to like it a lot more.
