  1. Right back at ya. Doggie is giving us a side glance and a smile.
  2. We ( Akroorka and I ) had a most pleasant and successful marble exchange. We had some great communication too. I hope everyone has as much fun as I did. Thank you!
  3. I reduced the images in size anyway. Orange has never been my best color to photograph. Second picture still looks lousy. I'm gonna fix that. Best I could do fixing. Is the first a Jabo?
  4. I am convinced you are correct with Alley Coral Swirl. Thank you!
  5. I've been here active for I guess a little over half a year and I have been treated so well. Lots of polite and patient people and it should get mentioned. Thanks everyone and if you celebrate Christmas, may it be a wonderful one this year for you and yours. If you celebrate or observe something else, I wish you just the same.
  6. Isn't this a little beauty? A generous gift from a good friend. I thought it just might be Christianson Agate Co but perhaps it is West Virginia Swirl. It is .59 inches in diameter. Thank you.
  7. That was my first guess too but I have a secret ballot for Akro here too. Thank you very much for the reply CharlieT.
  8. Think you know who made it? Added Edit - This is .71 inches in diameter. I'd appreciate your answer. Thank you!
  9. Thanks Alan. Good theory. It is in mangled mint condition anyway.
  10. ,68 or .70 inch depending on where I measure. Thank you for your interest in my post Alan.
  11. Wow Nantucketdink Great effort there. And the Jabos you show do have that sheen like Vacors. Hmmm, looks durn close. Thank you!
  12. Both are about 5/8th inch. On the left it looks like an older Jabo classic to me. Maybe more red than orange I suppose. On the right, I am seeing an Akro Agate Corkscrew but it is kind of blurry and undefined as far as the two colors go. They look somewhat blended. What do ya think? Could I have these both right? Thanks so much!
  13. This is one freak for sure but it is not damaged other than it's defective as made condition. It looks like it might have been an interesting marble production but this is sad. LOL It has a Jabo look to it maybe?
  14. These two look in pretty good shape. If I had to guess, I'd say the red and yellow was Akro Agate around 3/4 inches. The blue and yellow I thought might be Master Marble and is also about 3/4 inches in diameter. But the simpler the marble, the dumber I get. I don't think these come from the same company though.
  15. I agree but the consensus is Vacor. That was my first thought but was kinda hoping for more vintage. I'd like to know what it is but I'll be happy to have it.
  16. Well I like that it is a Peltier Peerless Patch and it is presenting itself nicely. Thank you all very much!
  17. Yes it does, that stripe only makes it halfway around the marble. I'll take another picture here. Thank you! PPP sounds exciting.
  18. The patch thing crossed my mind, honest. Just having that ever so perfect swipe on one side had me think that for a bit but I never would have known any more.
  19. Perhaps a Peltier. Definitely more bright in yellow and blue than Marble King colors. One on the left is taken in window light, the one on right with flash. It is a sharp looking marble of age in my opinion. Thank you!
  20. I suppose they are about 3/4 inches. Certainly look like family. Other side is blank and transparent dark green.
  21. Thanks Akroorka, and you other guys. I just got done looking at a whole lotta Vacors here and there. Hundreds of net bags and nothing came close. A lot of the Vacors look oily, sometimes even rainbow oily, like gas floating on water. This is shiny but not like that. I do like it no matter what it is.
