  2. Pretty marble for sure. I think Al may have that type in a bag.
  3. Here is the easiest way to resize and no distortion http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/image-resizer-powertoy-clone-for-windows-7vista/
  4. I did leave a few behind but they were types I had in smaller sizes. The purple and yellow is 3/4"
  5. Bubbles inside a marble(while possibly detracting from looks or value) would have nothing to do with a mint or near mint rating.
  6. Yet I came across these dead wet mint beauties at a flea market. Guess there are a few good ones still out there. 5/8"-25/32" The black and orange is actually is a deep transparent red
  7. It appears I was wrong. It will happen again(LOL)
  8. No. Naked core means nothing in the center of the marble.
  9. What and how do you put the finish polish to the marble?
  10. Made to profit off Akros good name. I believe they are Vintage http://cgi.ebay.com/1960s-ATRO-AGATES-5-STAR-60-MARBLES-ORIGINAL-SEALED-/310296690576#ht_1958wt_1089
  11. More than likely it was the glob of glass left on the punty from the previous marble that creates the inner core. No need to clean the punty and also save some glass.
  12. Usually the end of cane would be a drop shape or occasionally pushed onto another cane while molten sometimes resulting in a marble with 2 completely different halves.
  13. Any timeline on when that group was aquired
  14. There is only one reason 98% of the marbles in a jar are sold that way. They are common or beat to death. Folks just need to realize that.
  15. Any idea where and from whom the halves came from?
  16. I believe Greg was saying he did not believe you would bother to comment. Not expecting you to. And even though we go over the issue every couple of years maybe someday someone will spill the beans one way or the other.
