  1. Might be a type of Agate
  2. I do not see a vintage American made melted pontil marble IMO
  3. Really screwed up perspectives in todays humanity. We have starving babies in the USA and all over the world people have no food yet people are spending time and money protesting a dumb ass dentist that killed an old Lion?? I like animals but we seem to have really screwed up perspective nowadays. Sorry to say I wouldn't ever make it as a Buddhist. I just think as long as babies are dying from no food one of the last places money should be spent is on stray animals in pounds. Of feeding feral cats https://www.wfp.org/hunger/stats
  4. I couldn't believe the 5/8" ones were actual Turquoise but was proved wrong with the saw. Got them from LOM. Can't get much more Turquoise than this(LOL)
  5. Seeing how the feeder and tanks were set up for 3 ribbons of different color on each side I would guess the max colors were first and the lesser amounts came about as colors ran out?? Just a thought

  9. I will never forget the night as a child we set up a telescope someone lent Pops and saw the rings of Saturn.
  10. None of them in California. Fall evenings in the woods just are not quite right with out lightning bugs
  11. Point your camera at the north star and leave the lens open for a while. The result will really amaze you!
  12. Melted Pontils are American made and I did not recognize the color from Harveys palate
  13. I really miss lightning bugs
  14. Yes a 30 second exposure could result in tiny lines for stars
  15. Bill, I know we disagree but unless one is just cleaning grime off a marble buffing removes glass. It may be a very microscopic amount but glass gets removed. Under a strong magnification much of the haze on a marble is tiny microscopic sctratches. These get removed with a buffing. That means some glass was removed.
  16. Looks like whats called a multi or tri colored Rainbo . Does not fit the multi-colored swirl definition for me. Not a fruit salad type
  17. Could you get clearer pics? If it is vintage Buffing is going to remove most of its value.
  18. Yea, It just may be time to let that one go.
