  1. I would think so. With some other equipment changes. Larger rounding rollers and possibly another shearing set up? Not real big of a deal with single stream marbles and the Paul Bunyan type patches appear to me to be simple single stream marbles. One large furnace with colors mixed( possibly with so called crucibles) in the furnace before exiting at the single stream. Not 2 or more furnaces each producing a different glass color mixed with a mechanism outside of the furnaces.
  2. Maybe you need to run us through the process you used to report the listing. I could find no real way to report the actual problem. No matter what I click it does not give a proper choice to report the problem
  3. First time in a long while that I just showed up for the show. Had a great time and there sure was a lot of foot traffic all day long.. Found a marble I needed and one I wanted and 2 contemps for gifts so it worked out good for me.Randy picked up quite a few good mibs and those 2 Pelts were bonus mibs. Rich did a heck of a job getting it done!!!
  4. It looks real good in with the CACs but the glass just does not seem quite right.
  5. Blue Boys originally and for many years were light transparent blue base glass with yellow ribbons, And I still do not know what a Golden Boy is? And am now an even more happy being a founding member of NHA. It is getting ridiculous.
  6. They look like swirls to me although if the hole the stream feed through gets large enough the marbles will look like patches and actually may be considered patches.
  7. Ebay does not want to here about it. I have talked to them about this kind of stuff a couple of times and they could care less. Just try and find a way to report the actual problem. There is no way to do it with out a phone call. And they even make that hard.
  8. Colors and construction say Alley to me. Not really the end of stream tongue that is sometimes mentioned with CACs and the occasional Champion
  9. At least they did not do what Roy did to Trigger.
  10. and on the other side of the fence I would put Alley.
  11. Ron I value your opinions very much. always have. We may disagree on a few subjects but that has no bearing on how I feel about you. Heck I appreciate the jabos you sent that showed the progression through a run. ( still have them and value them,I Appreciate the time you have spent with me at the Canton shows. As a matter of fact I still have every Jabo you ever sent me. I enjoyed the time at Jabo with the crazy attempt at corkscrews. I wish you would post 10 times more than you do. And please do not stop. There are many newbies and even oldies that can learn from your postings. So what if some disagree!!!!!!!! Heck I would of had to quit posting 15 years ago if I couldnt stand people disagreeing with me. Of course I have had to put up with a lot more than just disagreements. Hey Duffy whats up(LOL) You all liking the Bacon? I left in Canton?
  12. I will bring a few for you to check out. See you all Saturday.
  13. Yesterday was 72 it is only 66 right now. Moms already sitting.
  14. Is it not possible those clowns were made using German marbles and that is the reason there is such a variety of the marbles found with them? A lthough they do appear to be Italian to me. I also think there is a good possibility some of the larger odd style handmades may be Italian
  15. The English style is a modern term, given to marbles with bright colors most often found in England. It is only assumption by a few they were made in England with no facts to back up the assumption. Maybe some day there will be, but untill that happens there are many facts that these type marbles were made in Germany including some of the so called "English Types" being found in German dig sites and complete sets of matching marbles found on Solitaire boards marked Made in Germany.
  16. I believe Rich has had fairly good success with sulphides.
  17. I do not believe it has never been proved any of the cane cut marbles were made in England. And as we know with todays Chinese imports it is often more cost effective to import items. England would have to have imported the fuels needed to burn in furnaces. Okay for more expensive items but possibly not for cheap toys. And I do know many of the English style have been found in board sets marked made in Germany, and usually in Great Britain.
  18. And a perfect example of rudeness, Thank you Steve.
  19. Damnit Hansel, Everytime you post a new pic I get blown away. That board is fantastic!
