I would have to agree on the part about alley lutz being accidental.Based purely on assumption,and a little logic. I wasnt there,and do not know of any documentation of alley proccesses or procedures. I would think that coloring agents where a lot differant back then.As a guess,maybe it was a coloring agent that didnt completly "break down",and left crystaline particles remain. It could be debris,but the alleys Ive seen with what I consider "lutz",involve a trasparent green. If its gold and sparkly,I call it lutz.

I like the sparkles,,,I mean sprinkles. Its all a matter of personal taste.When you get to the bottom line,of what is considered "value",everyones opinion of what is,or is not desirable,is the final say.Could be based on perception of rarity,pretty,or even ugly.Its not a set target,because everyone opinion is differant,or could be similar. Im still not eating any hole,red raddishes!--LOL (I do,once a year,just to make sure the taste buds didnt change) Just to give a little differant perspective on rarity. There are others that have applied "lutz"/goldstone,at jabo. It is done by hand,usualy by 1 person. Me,personaly,I like to keep it limited,when Im sprinkling. I like to do enough,that everyone in the run is guaranteed to get some in thier boxes. Those alley with "lutz" are all junk.If you send them all to me,Ill dispose of them properly for you! Im also interested in meeting someone that will give me 2 $20's for a $10,and anyone interested in buying some swamp land,in the middle of the desert,,,,,,,,,,,

BAH HA HA HA!!!!!! Ive been beyond busy,with the runs at jabo.I skipped out on a few of my "regular" advenures.Missed 1 Brimfied antique show,couldnt make it to Marlborough,because I had too much prep work for the runs,missed out on 2 differnt occasions to hang out with my friend in NH.and get to fish my butt off.The salmon are running,in Pulaski NY,,,Dang it! Not complaining though,you know.Too me,playing at the marble factory takes the highest priority.Its the opportunity,that I do not want to miss out on. Beside that,I think the fish,need a little break from the "fish slayer". Im still in WV.Just got done with a run,with Rick and Berts group. Now its time to take a break from everthing,hang out with my friend Scott,and attempt to kick his butt,fishing along the ohio river. Of course,there is another marble factory,3 blocks from were I am sitting right now. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I got the fishing part,out of the way last night. The final score was 9 to 5,in Scotts favor,,,,,but---I took the Big fish honors-----the "tournament" will be continued,over the next couple days

I had to go out and buy some hardware,to recover some of my man power! Everyone is lucky,cause I had the "daisy Dukes" get up,in my hands,at good will.It wa going to be,stage 2,under the "Minni" look.I put it back because my intention was for fun,,,,,,and not the highly probable,puke fest that might have occured!

OMG!!!!!There are 3 people crying right now in Paden City,WV with that follow up,Alan. Minni Griffeena Pearl,accomplished her,uh,,his,,,no no,"ITS",mission.Minni,told me,that the response,on arrival,was above and beyond what was hoped for. Unfortunatly,Minni has returned to the mother land,probaby never to be seen again. Minni left me the dress and hat to remember,the day.Dont ask me how that happened.Please,please,dont ask----LOL Griff
