  1. Vacor. There are vintage machine mades very near this, made by Alley and Champion. Once you have some in hand side by side, you can see the difference in the blues and whites.
  2. Not metallic. It is iridescent. Sprayed with a special alcohol mix while hot. Common with many newer marbles.
  3. Vitro All Red. Named by the company. A white base with one red patch and a patch of another color. All Red because when the kids shoot or roll the marble, the red flashes or always seen and red was the kids favorite color on a marble.

    ID

    Vitro for me.
  5. Don't be shocked when someone tells you it is CAC. Years ago these were all CAC. Then good numbers were being dug at Pennsboro and then they were found in two of Alleys grandsons collections. Most people switched them from CAC to Alley.
  6. #1 is 50% chance Alley or 50% chance Ravenswood.
  7. Alley named as the West Virginian, many years ago by Sam Hogue. Produced at the Alley factory in Pennsboro WV.

    Help ID 42

    Not Vacor. They were dug.
  9. Not a brick, not oxblood. Not 1700-1800's. Looks like a machine made, 1930-1960's maybe newer ?

    Clay marbles

For experienced marble collectors, zero to $1.00.

    Oion skins

All depends on condition and size of each one. The large one looks like it might be a yellow latticino. Cannot tell much about the yellow one. I don't think any are onionskins. With only this one picture maybe $150.00 to $250.00 . With just this one picture only the price estimate could be off. Better closer individual pictures with sizes might get a more accurate value.
  12. That box is a nice find. The five oxblood bricks are also nice. Bricks, slags and game marbles.
  13. Correct not oxblood. Just red thinning to orange.

    No onion skin marbles.

    Oxblood ?

Yes the name Abalone for marbles with the similar looking silver seen on shells.

    Oxblood ?

Not Oxblood. Not black just thick dark red. Looks like it was dug, small lines, grooves, of abalone(silver looking). A reaction with some glass after being buried in the ground for a long time. Not all dug marbles do this or have this.
  17. You are on the right track Vitro or Akro. I am not 100% sure but would guess Vitro.
  18. 100% Jabo. Not any special investor run. Made before the 2008 + investor runs. They probably glow under back ight.
  19. Cannot tell for sure from this one view ? Peltier Vitro All Red Marble King Vacor Cannot tell for sure from this one view ? Marble King Peltier
  20. I would like to have a pair of those jeans. Very interesting and good history.
  21. The second one (orange) is Champion Agate. The others are common game marbles. Made by almost very marble company from 1930;s until recently. Very few can be separated to one company or a certain time frame. They were made in many different single colors. Sizes 1/2 inch, 9/16, 5/8 are the most common sizes. Some are 3/4 and 7/8 inch.
