    MCS

Peltier MCS. Not a uncommon color combo for me.
  2. Shocked, are my eyes fooling me ? Am I that tired ? It sure looks like a 100% Vitro Parrot . Vitro Parrots
  3. Now it looks like a different marble. No id can be accurate if the picture does not look like the actual marble. The boards are in better focus than the marbles.
  4. All the actual Berry Pink marbles are 7/8 to one inch size.
  5. I have never seen a antique Birdcage for sale at $600.00 in 25 years. I would pay double or triple that fast for one. I have only seen three, none for sale. A Birdcage has to be clear or transparent to see the birdcage. The Lighting Strikes are opaque white. I have seen six and only two for sale in 25 years. 2005 is almost 25 years ago. But I cannot buy marbles at 2005 prices. I would have probably bought it from Tom in 2005 for $600.00, if I would have had the chance. He had some nice marbles.
  6. All that I know of are white base. When you are talking thousands of dollars, sorta similar goes away. It has to be correct. There is no stretching a true Bird Cage or true Lighting Strike.
  7. MK newer Polar Bear. If It is purple. Notice where it bleeds thin it is going purple to pink in the pictures. Vitro didn't make any thing like this.
  8. I see a lot of hit marks in the red. It all looks translucent in the pictures. No light passes through when back lighted ?
  9. Jabo, correct size and typical U pattern. From short length glass stream from furnace outlet to the shear.
  10. Alley St. Marys Ghost . A little weak on both colors.
  11. I cannot be sure what company it is from. It is a error that did not spin correct in the marble machine rolls groves. So the intended pattern or goal was messed up. Every hot glass glob has to spin in all different directions on its own axis in each marble machine roll grove, especially the first couple roll groves. If the glass glob spins in one direction only the marble pictured above happens. Many times the tight twist one end or pole, will be slighlty rough or roll marked. A ying yang pattern or rams head pattern. Many things can cause this, temperature hi or low, roll speed, size, glass build up on rolls, and more.
  12. Vitro on the left. A conqueror. Not a bullseye. A bullseye is clear base with one solid color patch with another color circling around the patch color. The right one is Jabo. Vitro Bulls Eye below. I have some in a group of many named Vitros on Ebay right now.
  13. Most of the marbles in that link belong to me. The marble above blue and yellow is no Cairo Novelty. I have dug Cairo Novelty marbles off and on for over twenty years. Dug at the Cairo Novelty site this past Oct. Never have seen any like the original posted marble from Cairo Novelty. I would have to double check but I don't think any blue and yellow Cairo Novelty glows. I agree, I just call them like I see them.
