MarbleDawg86
I guess it's no surprise, given whom the seller is
Steph
Well, it's gorgeous. Is it really antique?

MarbleDawg86
Without a doubt it's new..... No pontil at all, and I've never seen lutz like that. Will this guy ever learn?? I've tried talking to him but he acts clueless or just ignores me altogether.... It's a shame/sham..... Lol
ann
Maybe Rolf Wald? Could be. There's also a guy named Baker (I forget his first name -- it's been a while since I've bought any contemps) who uses a lot of gold aventurine like that.
lstmmrbls
I am thinking this guy made a big sale at one time and keeps trying to make it happen again.

They're very pretty, but his are always signed... At least from what I've seen.

ann
Keith Baker! That's right. And I forgot the signature -- mine are signed too. The Walds, then . . .
skoronesa
I give the guy credit on the photos, the person who bought it knew exactly what they were getting. According to the listing it sold for 9,339.33$. Could be a sham. For that price I'd have it carbon dated.

greg11
that massive over 2 inch banded I got came from this seller, and its flat out killer, original surface. His stuff seems to be mixed around a bit, some polished, some new, some great.
BobBlock
The listed ended early. I've bought two marbles from this seller so far. Both described in the mid-9s. The first had several subsurface moons on it, so I would have graded it in the mid to upper 8s. The other was a buffed surface, with sparkles remaining. I won't be bidding on his marbles any longer.
