lstmmrbls
They are sure pretty but those look so odd all I could think of was what a shame those Bulgarian marbles are now every where. They don't have the nasty rough pontil do they. And if they don't I have to say some unique marbles for sure!!
orbboy
LoL nope good pontils. Been at this long enough to spot those cruddy fakes. Just nice ones. I do have my eyes open for those fakes though.
lstmmrbls
I have some Bulgarians with fairly well finished pontils. Do you have pics of the pontils on these?

Steph
Idle curiosity ... are the Bulgarians using oxblood?

godown
Nice looking Handmades They certainly look like they may have come originally from the ebay seller " Super marbles " http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-HAND-MADE-MARBLE-15-16-GROUND-PONTIL-/321522996065?pt=Marbles&hash=item4adc439361

lstmmrbls
Those are so good I sure couldn't say they are Bulgarian. But they just have that too good, too much look too them. And the second one appears to have a pontil similar to the Bulgies. They sure are sweet and if were not too much I would think they would be nice to hang on to until a positive ID could be made??? orbboy
Guess mentioning size might help. The mainly ox one just reaches 13/16" the other two are a tad smaller. More input please.
MarbleDawg86
They are very nice looking. I have to agree with Galen... eBay seller supermarbles sells some that look very similar.... Just in case though, I'd hang on to these for a while if I were you!
Ric
They are really nice, and I certainly cannot positively ID them. But I lean toward the "maybe a little too good to be true" sentiments.
ann
For some of the same reasons I doubt them being antique (colors being one, especially the second and third one), I would also keep them! If they are Bulgarian, they're some of the thought-to-be-older or first-group-made ones, and lovely in their own right. I like the "slurpy" quality of the glass on some of the Bulgarians, and buy one now and then . . .
orbboy
While I was 99.9% sure these were good. After seeing some Bulgarians inhand today I am now 100% sure they are the real deal. They are nothing alike. Different glass and textures all day long. I have sold 4 of these in the past 15 years as well have consigned several through Alan. Just pretty old marbles here.
ann
They're yours, so call them what you will! I'd certainly bid on those bottom two -- but not at old handmade prices. I'll save my limited marble budget for the machine-made Euros! Those are awfully nice -- Sorry. Amsterdam / Veiliglas marbles!
marbleus1
I dont think so dave. too many indicators. I do not believe they are antique. hope I'm wrong
ann
One of my Bulgarians, with similar colors to #2 -- but I like yours much better.
