Ric, very glad to see you got there to a much deserved goal. Now brother, try (to stay BUSY), once you have taken it easy for some time. Now maybe we ca n get to (see you) a little more this way.  So glad to hear this. Chuck G---

And thank you all for the well-wishes. I'll have plenty around here to keep me busy - plan to travel a bit too. And in a couple of years, I hope to be living on a Blue RIbbon Trout Stream in Michigan.

Congrats on retirement. If you're anything like me It should take 4 or 5 minutes to get used to.

I am about five days away from being officially retired, Bruce, and I think I'm already used to it!

I'll have plenty to keep me busy around here for a few years, Chuck, and you know I'll be seeing you in Decatur. In about a year, I am going to start paring down my collection - shooting for a top 2,000 or so, because in a couple of years, I hope to be living on a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream in Michigan, and I don't want to move too many marbles!

Congratulations and well wishes I wish to extend too you. Even though I have never met any of you and have only got to know you all through texts and pictures, I do feel like it's been a lot longer than almost 2 months. That's exactly how you, Ric, and everyone else here has made me feel....happy, welcome and part of an extended family. I will know that feeling of retirement I hope one day, I'll be 53 a week from Friday so not too many years to go. Reap the rewards of a life well lived and thank God for every day going forward! Once again, congratulations and marble on! 😊👍

Thank you, William. I have lots of plans, and fishing more is way up on my list.

Haha, too funny, Rick - I had that book when I was young! It wouldn't surprise me if it's still in a box around here somewhere - seriously, I about wore the pages off of it!

And thanks for the well-wishes!

Since we are on the fishing subject, part of my significant others score yesterday was this. Never opened from the original packaging, she got a pair of them. Incredibly tiny hook! Anything Occupied Japan is cool too find since the manufacturing period was only a handful of years, especially the stuff you don't see very often. Goes right into her Vintage lure collection (I'll share pics of her tackle boxes sometime 😊)
