Ric
I am not sure if I would call those Sunsets or not - the colors are right, for sure, but I think Sunsets have four ribbons and lots of bubbles in the clear base. I have never seen a green sunset - do you know what they are or have any to show - I'd love to see one.

Fire1981
Those are mine. They were recovered at the Pelt site. Can't remember but someone thought they were Cross-Throughs. I don't think they are. My CT don't match up with these. Glad you're back.
Ric
Yeah, I'm not seeing cross-throughs either. So what about a Green Sunset - ever seen one?
Fire1981
Nope. These are just funky rejects that must have just been thrown in the pit because it wasn't the marble they wanted to market. That's about as far as I've gotten with these. Berryb
My idea of a sunset is clear with transparent or translucent ribbons. yours have opaque ribbons. I like 'em better, but that's just me. Thanks Bruce

Fire1981
That's what mine are. 100% Should we give them their own Special name ? Green Candy Canes ? Clear base are Candy Canes.

tankgrrl29
i've always loved these types and scratched my head over them at the same time. i spent my literal last dollar on one i found in a dollar box on my way out of my first marble show. at one point it occurred to me that Pelt Sparklers might be a good fit, but then i imagined the resulting fire storm and decided to just stay in my lane. but seriously - they're different yet predictable enough that they seem (to me) to be in a category of their own. anyone find any in original packaging? i haven't... Ric
I have never seen them in original packaging either, and I agree, they do seem to be their own kind of animal. I've only seen them with a clear or green transparent base, but I'm thinking a trans-blue based one would be pretty cool. I'll ask you a question I have asked many others: I recall someone, somewhere, referring to a Green Sunset, but I couldn't tell you what they look like. Have you heard of such a mib? Could you describe them, or better yet, show me a pic of one?

Fire1981
I'll dig my Blue Transparent one out when I get unpacked. One Red Ribbon and one Yellow one. Bubbley matrix. It's the only one I have. Could call it a High Noon Sunset. Or a Blue Sky Sunset. 🤪
