Any thoughts on which company made this multicolored swirl?

I think you've posted this in the past ?? Could be wrong after looking @ thousands of posts I'm kinda lost in the mix. In any case it looks like a Heinzer, I don't know where to start, one shot looks kinda almost Akro, then you turn the marble and it's lookin more W. Va.  With all that in mind I'm gonna agree w/ Roby & say Jabo

As far as I know it ain't no Jabo or Vitro for that matter, colors are too bold for anybody I know of. Except; Royal Blue, Strong red blending with what appears to be the mix found in a Chocolate oxblood. I've seen and have Akro corks with that mix but, really never seen this blue so strong.

What size?

At or slightly over 5/8

It looks kinda dark without the flash. ( Ann mentioned photos without the shadows, I can try but I'm no photographer). With the flash on all the colors pop.

It has a little of everything maker going on:

Tongue, cuts, colors , ear, flop etc.

Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Brown, Plumb, the blue when flashed looks electric a very rich blue, like the old ponds glass Ravenswood used.

Raven blue, from what I can tell, clean cuts like some Alley, or CAC, an ear like Heaton, some colors like Akro, you get the idea. It's all over the place.

The abrupt cuts in the glass are very cool and unique mib. It's starting to grow on me.

I would guess a very early Ravenswood Glass.  Made by L.E. Alley from batch glass.  When he made his very first ever marbles. Now you know why two car loads of CAC people broke into Ravenswood glass and destroyed all the equipment. Not many companies in 1929 making machine made swirl style marbles. CAC and Ravenswood Glass.   It was late 1929 and people did not sue and wait to take you to court.  Alley very soon left Ravenswood and moved to making marbles at Paden City WV.  Ravenswood Glass was later reformed and then named Ravenswood Novelty Company.

Nice marble.

Nice marble.

Super news! Thank you for taking the time to post this important information.

Also thank you all for the conversation.

I'm on board with early Ravenswood Glass. I already fondly named this one a Ravenswood Picasso

I am confident that it is Ravenswood Glass. Alley only made a few marbles there for a very few months. They are very seldom seen because of the low numbers. Your description above with all the things you listed fits perfectly.  Alley - CAC - Raven Blue - Ear pattern - Tongue - odd cuts.

Lucky man to have a Ravenswood Glass Picasso.    Ravenswood Glass not Ravenswood Novelty.    I have a few Ravenswood glass but not this one.  Most Ravenswood Glass marbles, what few there are, get attributed to Alley at Sistersville.  Plus he did make a few of the same exact thing at Sistersville as he made at Ravenswood Glass.
