Ric
I'm confused. Without providing any hints as to the ID, I'll just say that they're marbles, I guess. People who post in the ID section are usually looking for help with ID. What are you looking for? 1

From what I researched, they are called "Golden Onyx Oxbloods" Some think they are old/early Eggyolk Oxbloods, while others have no idea. One person says they are a known Akro run called, Golden Onyx Oxblood". I think these and 3 other marbles are from the same original box that may have been labeled "Variety Onyx Oxbloods" being that the other 3 are also Onyx Oxbloods of different types. One needs a time machine. The eggyolk Onyx and two others were bought from an estate hunter who probably bought them all at once. The other two will be here next week but I have pictures of them. I think all five came from the same estate sale and out of the same original box.

Ric
Nice marbles, I'm still not sure what you're looking for but the first are Egg Yolk Oxbloods and the last is a Silver Oxblood, at least to me.

An Akro identifier said that they are a known akro run. If so, they were probably part of some sort of Onyx Oxblood box. I think I might have 5 marbles from the box. I will know more next week.

I think an estate hunter bought 5 or 6 marbles and sold them as toy marbles not knowing what she had. The 6th marble was a very large Peltier cub-scout NLR not related to the other 5 of course. Those specific 2 could and probably are worth a lot of money.

Show us the box and show us the "Cub-scout". Your mind is not made up--we can help here---for sure. No not feel shy or overwhelmed--we see this stuff all day long and rarely judge any opinion from any collector—new or old. I just love this stuff---we all do. Marble—On!! I sure the original box is long gone and these 5 Onyx Oxbloods maybe the only survivors. I will get the last 2 with the cub-scout next week. The cub-scout may have been sold to the estate hunter along with the other 5. Here are her pictures of the cub-scout. It's 13/16"

No, just making a guess, but I think by next week sometime, I may have 5 Onyx Oxbloods that are 2 Onyx Oxbloods, 2 Golden Onyx Oxbloods and 1 Eggyolk Onyx Oxblood with similar glass/characteristics that maybe originated together. It's definitely not that far-fetched being that estate hunter is known for selling other toys, clothes and some other Antiques and stuff.

If so, they were probably part of some sort of Onyx Oxblood box. I think I might have 5 marbles from the box. I will know more next week. Akro didn't do "runs". They ran machines for extensive periods until the pot slowly dissolved and the firebrick ended up in the glass, signaling that it was time for the pot/crucible to be rebuilt. That rebuilding was a big effort and meant that it was down for weeks. Vintage marble making made marbles for small fractions of 1 cent. They fulfilled very large orders. They did not do short "runs" This concept is an invention. This is a recent invention. If someone disagrees - please ask them to provide Akro documentation that validates this new claim. I'll be interested to read it. Otherwise, its just an invention to create the allure of rarity and hike the asking prices. Folks shouldn't be taken in by these stories. "Every questionable marble sale needs a good story to support it. A good marble needs no story at all". 1

Joe2
If I may shed some light on the topic, the egg yolk pattern listed above is a Mossy egg yolk pattern. I believe the gentleman here is referring to a clear base. If I am not mistaken, the golden clear base Oxblood marble could have been the original, but who knows? It is just a thought. No checklist, no reference to support my theory.
