  1. Thanks Al! I first had it in mind that I got them from you, apparently not. we”ll wait for Ron to chime in.
  2. Does anyone have the backstory on this little packet? Not sure where I got it from, maybe a bonus from and old eBay purchase?
  3. A box w/~1,100 mibs for $25, couldn’t pass it up. first we have a matching pair of rare purple sulphides, with what appears to be string imbeds??🤣🤣🤣 (looks like some parent reached their clacking limit.) boatload of Vitro and cats eyes (3 purple) no tricolor superiors. a good amount of MK not a single AKRO couple Pelt Rainbos 2 monster steelies. money well spent.
  4. Buy a slingshot… or throw handfuls on a local beach or playground for the kids to find. we give away bags to kids at antique shows to offset the boredom generated by their parents forcing them to go. And if any become future collectors, we’ll have a market for selling our collection when the time comes.
  5. Thought so, I have a few of Bobs pieces… john is scary good!
  6. Here is the Pic previously posted. The smaller examples have a similar base. Strange mib for sure…
  7. I’ve seen the reference photo Steph posted last year from Al. Except for the opaque base, it seems to comply…
  8. This is 19/32”, with a thread opalescent base. I read Ron’s description, not sure what to think of it.
  9. Thanks for the pic Steph! Found this little bullseye WC today.
  10. Wvrons, excellent displays! The angled mirror for the top shelf is a great idea! Trying to keep things at eye level restricts what you can display. I have some wall racks that need to get lowered 6” or so for optimum viewing. Step stools are dangerous for old folk..
  11. We have a Gasoline Alley antique store in seattle, mostly toys. http://www.gasolinealleyantiques.com
  12. No kids, and only 5 small dogs. The displays keep the dust down, plus hepa filters in the furnace.
  13. Awesome finds! Great prices as well👍
  14. Just bought 2 more wall displays, realized I have too many good mibs in cases in the closet. https://www.ebay.com/itm/120410910529?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8weAQEnpSrC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bXaTUpW8TnK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  15. Just caught the subtle offer🥴 thanks but not actively seeking CW glass. Will pick it up when I find it in the wild, at a good price. The bright colors are more sought after and bring better prices. those pieces we do have are going to the glass show next month to hopefully find new homes. we have become space limited, so we need to curate. We are trying our best to display all the Blenko we own, no pleasure in having things in the storage room. That tends to keep the addiction in check.
  16. Found this recently in a family members estate sale, couldn’t resist it. No idea who made it, or when but thinking Spanish origins. Missing 2 gems…
  17. Still looking for the paperweight.. the round rock is obsidian, weathered most likely in a River. I was positive it was a meteorite when I found it at a garage sale🥴 the wall display is a plaster cast of the original discovery fossil. My grandfather got to name it, hence the “Northropi” in the name. found the sharks tooth display years ago, had to have it for $10.
  18. Wasn’t aware they were composites, no more broken bats.
  19. Nope, no way anytime. They both have the same issues, speaking from experience🤣
  20. Love the sharks tooth! My grandfather was a geologist, spent many summers digging fossils. he taught at UNM from 1931 to 1968. He was the first civilian to access the trinity bomb site at White Sands to collect samples of “Trinitite”, also called Atomsite. The site’s sand fused into glass. He was supposed to use it for research and the University museum, but my grandmother got hold of a batch and made paperweights for the family. Encased it in resin. I’ll dig mine out and take a pic.
  21. If they move bat production to China, where is the wood going to come from? will the Trump tariffs impact the business? hang in there William, I don’t think the fat lady is quite ready to sing…
  22. The color combo on the first was yelling Vitro, maybe need to get my ears checked. (My wife thinks I should, she starts every conversation with “you’re not listening to me”…🤣🤣🤣)
