  1. Not getting the Blenko vibe on either piece… Blenko pontil marks are typically a flat slant surface, often with the edge sharp enough to cut you if not careful.
  2. She rarely buys pieces with broken daubers, unless they are very rare or cheap.
  3. The broken dauber says older, no etch on the base says newer. So a hybrid, which occurs sometimes in bottles and decanters.
  4. Wall display for your best mibs. Found one for golf balls at a thrift store for $20. Good for larger mibs. the Mirrored display is cool but a pain to clean. the oak cabinet is a Hamilton, found at a antique store for the price of a good pelt Superman. Holds roughly 150 5/8” per tray, so 1,200 total. Plus a good-sized drawer at the base for misc. these have plexiglass sliding covers https://www.ebay.com/itm/120410910529?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8weAQEnpSrC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bXaTUpW8TnK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. Has the style. They are typically etched on the base, very lightly. is there a dauber, or is the stopper base flat? if flat, could be modern using old molds.
  6. That is a nice piece, I’d have bought it as well.👍
  7. The wife loves Czech perfume bottles, especially the Vaseline. The Westmoreland “bathing beauty” is nice, several akro ashtrays below it also glow, as do some gearshift knobs. the big green bowl is our biggest UV piece. Items in the last pic are going to a depression glass show next month to find new homes.
  8. I thought they were made while Vitro was in Anacortes, WA?
  9. No, you just need more bags🤣🤣🤣🤣
  10. I would love to make the trip to go to the show, need to work on the wife🤔
  11. Thanks Ric! I found Stephan Bagar’s video on Akron marble and Toy company, good info.
  12. Thanks for the ID on the NLR! It was bugging me, yes on the Orca. Ric is right, there are 2 Vacors… the big blue bomber was hiding in the middle of a jar, didn’t see it. Same for the mica, which almost covers the cost of 2 jars.
  13. Saturday finds. 3 jars 1 is mostly Vitro cats, 1 is 4-color horseshoe. the purple slag looked ugly until I backlit it. “Heliotrope”! the Navarre is just over 1/2”, smallest I’ve found. the Mica is around 13/16”, mint celery green. can you spot the Vacor? also picked up some Blenko and depression glassware. We joined a local glass club, doing our first show on 2/25. Should be interesting.
  14. Can you add some tequila to it? HAPPY FRIDAY🥂
  15. True that! I think taking a short video showing how light reflects on the facets, or rolling it to show wobbles might be a good way to show the facets? Stills don’t show much unless it is a large facet.
  16. Golden boy sale https://www.ebay.com/itm/333227972995?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4OKv8sadRJK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bXaTUpW8TnK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  17. And into orbit it went, for $1,275, plus tax and shipping. Our state tax is now 11%🤬🤬
  18. The education you are getting is priceless! Did you pay with MasterCard???🙃
  19. Can’t say much about Punch… happy New Years to all!
  20. We have many with the foil hand label, 1932 to 82. The 2nd label style covers 82 to 2002. Then started sandblasting “Blenko/date”. This was because they were bringing back older designs and did it want them misrepresented. the hand-signed were mostly 58 to 61. some also have the original sales sticker from the Visitors Center. http://blenkocollectors.com/blenkocollmarks.htm
  21. The minis are tough, many firms made them. The green coil is Blenko. The last crystal beaker looks like it may have a ground pontil, which Blenko rarely if ever did, so thinking not Blenko. water residue is a killer for value and display, try to only collect clean pieces. here is my go to reference site. https://blenko.com/pages/blenko-catalogs it takes time and research, they have over 2,000 designs spanning almost 100 years.
