    Any thoughts?

    At 3/4", I'm thinking JABO.

    rainbo?

Honestly, I think it's the size of the bag they came in - I'd consider the yellow/white Champions too, don't you?
  3. Yeah, I'm not seeing cross-throughs either. So what about a Green Sunset - ever seen one?

    rainbo?

I also think it is a multicolor Rainbo (MCR, as Chad puts it). Multicolor Swirls (MCSs) usually have three colors in addition to the base but they don't always swirl - some have straight seams. As for NLR or Rainbo, I'd call it a tweener - older than the vast majority of Rainbos and younger than the vast majority of NLRs. Champion Jrs. have four ribbons so I don't think it is one of those.
  5. I am not sure if I would call those Sunsets or not - the colors are right, for sure, but I think Sunsets have four ribbons and lots of bubbles in the clear base. I have never seen a green sunset - do you know what they are or have any to show - I'd love to see one.
  6. I thought it looked like a pretty weird Vitro .. . maybe because it's foreign?
  7. Thanks a lot, Tommy, it sounds like a fun game!

    Heaton?

How big is the yellow-based one in the first pic? As for the second pic, the one in the back looks like a better possibility for Heaton than the front one, which I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of more pics of.
  9. Yes, a nice later style Vitro All Red
  10. I'd say it's a nice caged cat, and Rick is right, probably the Gladding Vitro era.
  11. It's a new one for me - nice, I like it! Any idea how it's played?
  12. Take a look at your Akros and Masters Tommy, and spin them end-over-end, the seams of Akro often follow one another like ) ) Masters are often more like ) > or even | >, if you get me drift. lol
  13. I'll second those sentiments, Tommy. This is Edna's @sissydear David Salazar I copied from an earlier post.
  14. Welcome. The first marble you show is a Vitro TriLite. In the next photo, there is an Akro Corkscrew (first marble top row) and next to it is of a Vitro Whitie (white with orange ribbons around it), and in the second line-up shot, there is a Viro Blackie (last marble bottom row; red with a black ribbons around it). Can you tell I like Vitros? lol
  15. I have a feeling this one is Akro.
  16. I don't know much china marbles but, in general, one thing to look for is paint over damage, it's not something that would have been done originally, IMO.
  17. I see a couple of stripes that don't terminate at a "seam" or a fold (second pic) so I'm having a tough time convincing myself it's a Pelt. Either way, it looks like a mashup of two globs.
  18. Couple of nice TriLites in the first group and I think that Whitie with gray ribbons in the second group (lower left) is less common - nice finds.

    Navarre?

You know, that thought did cross my mind but I just don't know enough about Barberton to have any real ideas.
  20. Nice marbles, Joep - the "bubble core" is cool. AV is sometimes a bit more chunky but most times is fine. If you get it in good light it will look like fine sparkles or glittering.
  21. Haha, too funny, Rick - I had that book when I was young! It wouldn't surprise me if it's still in a box around here somewhere - seriously, I about wore the pages off of it! And thanks for the well-wishes!
  22. I thought they looked unusually stiff in the commercials, almost like they were shrink-wrapped - there didn't appear to be any sag when he pulled them out of the boxes and laid them on the table.
  23. A lot of the cellophane ones were packaged by an outfit called Perfection Packaging in Shelburn IN, which closed a good many years ago. I ran into an old gent who had a lot of cello bags he got from his sister, who worked there. And a variety of marbles, including MK cat's eyes and Vitro Tiger Eyes have been dug at a dump associated with the site.
  24. Some of the multicolor ones can be pretty nice. They made nice pumkin-colored ones to.. I have even seen them with AV. And they are easily confused with Masters.
