  1. I'd lean towards Navarre as well, nice marble, beautiful color. From what I've seen, most of the green American handgathered slags are a brighter green. Can't recall if I've seen one this shade before.
  2. Bottom left is worthy of a couple more angles. The rest mostly look like a bunch of more common foreign marbles (ie: Imperial).
  3. Vernier/Caliper styles can sometimes be hard to decipher but pretty sure that's reading .753 of an inch. I agree Champion New Old Fashioned, I had one kicking around here years ago.
  4. Nothing I'd consider "extraordinary" but there are a half dozen interesting ones in the last pic (any non-white or yellow Latt is usually a bit more desirable and it looks like you may have 3 or 4 that fit that category)
  5. Pelt would be my 3rd guess after MK and Vitro. Maybe it's just the colors throwing me off?
  6. They are a bit odd, not ground or faceted, kind of rough like a regular pontil but more elongated. Similar to that you see on some Indians. I'll see if I can dig up a pic
  7. Some German "Slags". Thought I posted this pic earlier but couldn't find it.
  8. The one with the clear window is especially unlike I've seen. Are these vintage?
  9. So if: "... in 1873 he perfected his globe-stoppered bottle. " that would be pretty early in the grand scheme of making marbles (or glass globes). Interesting links, thanks
  10. Just curious which company had the machines to fulfill that capacity/demand at the time? Any thoughts? US?
  11. Yowza, how about a group pic of the glass handmades when you get a chance?
  12. Some nice looking mibs in this lot, missed it earlier. Clean looking handmade
  13. #1 = Nice CAC (too bad about condition) #2 = Nice Alley Agate with Aventurine
  14. Nice clear slag, those are usually the hardest to pic (for me anyhow). Hoping all the best for your situation
  15. Kinda looks like Pelt feathering, but probably Akro. Nice size
  16. Don't look like pelts and agree on foreign, any pics of the board? Sounds interesting
  17. From my experience, it it's submerged in water (aquarium, etc) the finish can look this way over time. But it could also be play wear. Imagine a few generations of kids running around with a bag/pocketful of marbles, and them all knocking together. Some of the old German handmades got absolutely matte finishes from play wear. Vintage marbles wouldn't have left the factory this way, although some modern companies made them intentionally
  18. What's the size? No Pelts from what I see. Alley (possibility of CAC) on first, 2nd is maybe Alley? Looks a bit newer
  19. Nice examples of some clear based Peltiers, but to go beyond that, I kinda agree with Ron.
  20. ...or, put them on eBay! That works too. I think you'll do fine with that listing
