  1. Foreign (non-USA) transitional is my guess on the first. Killer pattern on the second. 10 years ago the majority might have guessed Peltier (I still wouldn't rule it out) but there are a lot of other companies that it could be.
  2. Hard one for me is the second pic. Such an unusual pattern.
  3. I'd put it in with a slag with some very much Pelt traits. Other views could help narrow it down
  4. hrmmm...interesting. Definitely hand gathered
  5. Newer, from Asia is my guess
  6. both look like foreign transitionals to me, one on the right looks pretty large, whats the size? Probably around 1"-1 1/4"
  7. Hrmmm, not sure then. I've seen fractures that look like that, but who knows?
  8. Depending how specific your project calls for, have you tried: https://www.photonics.com/Products/Precision_Glass_Ball_Lenses/pr53451 Sometimes, companies have samples available (usually marketing purposes) for potential/future customers.
  9. if it a huge fracture that gives those odd internal reflections?
  10. Old pic, but these shooters always intrigued me. Still have at least one but the rest should be good in their new homes
  11. Condition, pattern, and size are typically what collectors look for. The older German handmades with faceted pontils are usually better quality glass and craftsmanship (symmetry, layers, patterns, etc.) First pic front row, 4th from left (blue/white solid core with red outer bands) is the one I like most, followed by 6th from the left in same row. Good luck with your collection
  12. Speaking for myself: this is refreshing. German Handmades really got me in the hobby (I won a couple on the school grounds as a kid). I enjoy seeing a nice collection like this, chips, dings and all. Thanks for posting them and have fun looking at them
  13. I had one just like this (maybe still do, can't remember if I kept it). The board was plastic, deep red color if I recall.
  14. What's the estimated age for these bags? I was able to acquire some a while ago and they looked almost brand new. 1st thought NOS or Fantasy Bag... but the white/blue/green example in one bag looked way too nice to put in a fantasy bag. Got a pic around here somewhere
  15. My first thought was also Pelt but an extremely small for one from that era? And OX on a CAC or Pelt is pretty unusual as well.
  16. Could be, seams look a little "tight" so it might even be a CAC?
  17. Old pic but held on to a few as I definitely believe them to be Peltier
  18. Not much hope for cleaning that up, unfortunately. If you look at it too much it might even break.
  19. last pic is convincing. Hard to believe it hasn't shattered
