  1. I'm thinking blue/black and green/black are harder to find (for me anyways).
  2. It's odd to see a couple nice German Handmades in the mix of newer marbles (I'm guessing mostly Vacor and Imperial)... No Idea on the eyeball other than it's creepy cool
  3. Glad the pics work, and thanks for the complement. In my case it was louvered window blinds (southern exposure light). It's an old pic.
  4. This is one of the displays I put together years ago and am gladly looking forward to putting 'er back on the wall (terrible focus I know). Nice marbles Chad. Digging the Pelts and Handmades. Let me know if this pic works.
  5. Lawn bowls (a bit of a stretch to be marble related... but hey, they're round!)
  6. Odd, shows up on my screen and also in your quoted response. Anybody else not able to see it? Try this:
  7. Since I was starting to unpack ( I know it's a mixed bag, thought the pic turned out OK though and didn't want to hijack Chad's other thread). Cheers
  8. Sorry, don't mind the hodge-podge. (In the process of unpacking. ) Green one was the one I was thinking of
  9. Keep on posting the pics . 2nd post up there was some discussion about Akro vs. Alley years ago.
  10. Love the style of lid for that box. Nice!
  11. I'd say at least two nice Alleys. Someone more knowledgeable will surely chip in as this isn't my forte
  12. Sorry, that comment was intended for Brian as a compliment. Any sparkles in a marble, under sunlight and fresh air is good for me.
  13. On a ribbon core? That sounds interesting. I've been in the process of moving (the last year, tell me about it) and am just starting to unpack some of my handmades and get the "display" set up again. I certainly enjoy looking at them so thanks for the pics.
  14. Those are nice. I have a Latticinio with some incidental Lutz. It's always nice to get them out in the sun to enjoy.
  15. Wow, that's some deep digging. Some of the key things I picked out, was "seventy-five cents to a dollar" , per marble, was a substantial nugget of coin back in that era.
  16. Yeah, but at that point, they were played with for generations and pretty beat. I still liked the patterns though. That's how I got into marbles.
  17. The last round of pics look like a few Vitro's (Pelt on the first one). I see at least an Alley (blue/yellow) and a couple Marble Kings in the original post.
