  1. On ebay? I'd say not all those at once. But you could make any one of those compartments a lot. If you have all the rest of your marbles similarly color-sorted, you might learn some lessons in what colors people prefer to buy. Or ... maybe you could present attractive lots with one-third of an orange compartment, one-third of a green compartment, and one-third of a red compartment ... for example. Short version: small to medium sized lots would let you put up several attractive groups at once, which could attract a lot of buyers and competing bids. A priority mailer would let you send one small lot or multiple combined lots to one buyer, and would give you automatic insurance on the sale.

    Peewee

For a peewee that's an interesting pattern.
  3. The patch pattern does look Akro. Because of the opalescence, I was thinking "unusual Royal".
  4. That's one marble? I'll say Jabo Classic.
  5. I see your dilemma. Is that base yellowish? If it's really close to clear then maybe you're in Akro popeye patch zone.
  6. It's so different that I want to say "foreign", but I know I fall back on "foreign" too easily. I'll have to stick with kinda neat.
  7. ... lol ... I thought so ... though I'm cautious who I share it with!
  8. I was wondering about CAC but didn't want to be the one to bring it up. I'm fascinated by CAC transparent swirls, but very limited experience with them.
  9. It could have been sold as a Sunburst. The name is fuzzy in my opinion. When the name started out it was a very distinct style. Then the look of Masters changed drastically and lines got blurred. "Brushed patch" is a descriptive name used by collectors. It's more informative than whatever name Master might have used for it.
  10. Could be America with those colors. Considering Master. But I'm not sure. The white inside is coming across as unusually bright.
  11. The iridescent finish is a sign of a modern marble. These could be Asian or Mexican.
  12. An Asian cage-style cat's eye
  13. "She" though. Frances is the wife of a collector whose name you might recognise: Ron Buol.
  14. 200? Such self-control. Very admirable! Also, point taken. People sure are loving on the Vacors now.
  15. (At least I think it is goldstone ... does it sparkle?)
  16. On the left possibly the kind of transitional which often showed up in Canada. Goldstone on the right, with an unusual band that I don't recognize. Goldstone is a manufactured glass sphere often found in mineral sphere collections, not attributed to any marble-making company that I know of.
  17. An example of Akro Sparklers for comparison: The West Virginia Marble Collector's Club - packaging
  18. Circa 1930. NLR era.
  19. This one inspires me to consider sculpting a marble run, as an alternative to creating one with tubing or traditional tracks.
